On November 2, Jiang Wangju drove a hybrid second-generation wild boar to a neighboring village to mate with a villager's sow. On the same day, in addition to getting a reward of 200 yuan, Jiang Wangju also reached an agreement with the other party: after the family gave birth to the sows, Jiang Wangju would buy the piglets at a price 1 yuan higher than the market price per jin.

This is the fourth similar "deal" Jiang Wangju has made since late October.

Jiang Wangju, a native of Guqi Village, Qijiang Guantang Town, originally planned to adopt the breeding model of sows, but due to an unexpected "visit" of a wild boar, he changed his breeding model.

Sows attract boars

At the end of 2012, Jiang Wangju, a migrant worker, built a small pig farm in the village. He brought in 15 sows and one boar and planned to make money by breeding piglets and selling them.

Over the past two years, Jiang Wangju's pig-raising career has been lukewarm, and the scale of sows in pig farms has not been expanded.

In a twinkling of an eye, November 10, 2014. That day, Jiang Wangju, who had just returned home from selling piglets from the town of Zhaotang, found something strange and there was a noise in his own pig farm. He walked into the pig farm and saw that the boar he raised was fighting with a wild boar weighing more than 200 jin.

Seeing the man coming, the wild boar, who had the upper hand, quickly ran to the mountain forest behind the house.

How did the wild boar come to the pig farm? Jiang Wangju has some doubts. However, he quickly made a judgment: the estrus sow in his pig farm must have gone to the wild and attracted the boar here.

Introduce the plan into the "door-to-door man".

Now that the wild boar knows about this place, it will certainly come again. As a result, Jiang Wangju "isolated" the boar on the farm and turned off all the lights in the pig farm, while he quietly hid and waited for the wild boar to come again.

Sure enough, the next day, the wild boar reappeared in the pig farm and successfully mated with a sow.

Considering that only two sows in the pig farm are in estrus, Jiang Wangju hurriedly bought two estrus sows from other pig farms at a high price.

And the wild boar continued to be in front of the "door man". Within two weeks, it finished mating with four sows before saying goodbye to Jiang Wangju's pig farm.

Three months later, two sows successfully conceived and gave birth to 22 piglets, including 19 sows and 3 boars.

"in the future, we will rely on these three second-generation hybrid boars to breed piglets." Jiang Wangju made such a decision.

New changes brought about by the second generation of hybrid pigs

In July this year, seeing the second generation of hybrid boar growing up, Jiang Wangju simply sold the original domestic boar.

In order to keep the wild boar of his pig farm relatively pure and wild all the time, Jiang Wangju bought a wild boar from other places.

However, because the fence of the pig farm was not high enough, within a few days, the wild boar jumped out of the pig farm and ran away.

In order to prevent the fast-growing wild boars from getting lost, Jiang Wangju hastened to increase the height of the pig pen from 80 cm to 180 cm.

By late October, three second-generation boars were ready to mate. Jiang Wangju released the news: whose sow mated with his second-generation boar, and if he gave birth, he would buy back piglets at a price 1 yuan higher than the market price per jin.

On the other hand, Jiang Wangju and the local slaughterhouse have also reached an agreement that the slaughterhouse will also buy these three and four generations of hybrid wild boars at a price that is 1 yuan higher than the market price per jin.

"many sow breeders have contacted me, and they are all willing to sign an agreement with me." Jiang Wangju said that thanks to the wild boar who "visited" his pig farm, its arrival made the pig farm embark on a characteristic road to become rich.
