Song Libin said that three years ago, when he went on a trip to Wuyuan, Jiangxi Province, he saw a large area of imperial chrysanthemum planted there. Because of the high quality and the market price is not cheap, he felt that this was a rare business opportunity, so he brought back some of the seedlings of the emperor's chrysanthemum and planted them on the Mingshan Ridge. Due to lack of management experience, at first, the imperial chrysanthemum withered more than half of the imperial chrysanthemum. Although the remaining imperial chrysanthemum blossomed, the number and diameter were much worse than those of the southern imperial chrysanthemum. In order to grow chrysanthemum well, he went south to Wuyuan many times to consult local growers. After two years of trial planting, he gradually found out the growth habits of the imperial chrysanthemum, and the planting area also expanded to more than 50 mu. Due to drought and little rain in the later stage, in order to ensure the water needed by the imperial chrysanthemum, he drilled four 100-meter deep wells on the ridge, coupled with proper field management. These imperial chrysanthemums ushered in the full bloom.

Song Libin said that about 2,000 royal chrysanthemums are planted per mu, each can blossom hundreds of flowers, and 50 mu of imperial chrysanthemum blossoms at least several million, with an income of at least one million yuan per flower. The diameter of super imperial chrysanthemum flowers must be at least five or six centimeters, reaching 7 centimeters is the best, the price of each one ranges from dozens of yuan to hundreds of yuan, more than 3000 fresh imperial chrysanthemums can bake a jin of dry products. Talking about future development ideas, Song Libin said confidently that he has just transferred more than 200 mu of mountain land this year, and the planting base in Mingshanling has reached more than 500 mu. He plans to expand the imperial chrysanthemum to 100 mu and build a church in the base.
