On his back basket, Qin Dehong and the villagers went into the mountain to find and pick mature Ganoderma lucidum.

In the 1990s, a "Legend of the New White Lady" became popular all over the country. In this new interpretation of the myth legend, retained a lot of the original bridge. For example, the story of the White Lady who went to Kunlun Mountain alone to save Xu Xian and stole immortal grass. The magic herb in this story is Ganoderma lucidum.

Since ancient times, Ganoderma lucidum has been regarded as a symbol of good luck, wealth, beauty and longevity. In many folk works, it is also described as the "golden key" of resurrection and immortality. A wild ganoderma lucidum is hard to find, and the quality of artificially planted ganoderma lucidum is mixed. How to open this potential market?

In Dajing Yao Township, Lingchuan County, villagers have embarked on the "Kangzhuang Road" of becoming rich through imitating wild Ganoderma lucidum planting under the forest.

Recently, the reporter came to the deep mountain to visit Qin Dehong, a kind of Zhiren.

Search for the Zhizhiren in the Mountains

Deep in the western foot of the ocean Dajing Yao Township, more like an isolated paradise.

It takes nearly three hours to get from the city to Dajing Mountain. In order to catch up with the mountain to pick Zhi, early in the morning, the reporter drove to this "paradise" under the leadership of Li Lichun, head of Dajing Yao Township.

Although the terrain was remote, when it came to the Great Territory, I believe many people would not be unfamiliar with it. A few years ago, the "Dajing Tea Spring" packaged by local enterprises made many tea lovers flock to this place. Good mountain produces good water, good bubble good tea. For a time, abundant negative ion air and sweet mountain spring water have become the "golden name card" of the great realm.

Now, in the "golden business card", we have to add another item: imitation of wild Ganoderma lucidum under the forest. Since 2008, some villagers in the township have begun to try to plant imitation wild Ganoderma lucidum in 310,000 mu of primitive mountain forest relying on the mountain with an average altitude of 1500 meters. Qin Dehong was one of them.

Qin Dehong is the branch secretary of Leyu Village Committee of Dajing Yao Township. The Leyu Village Committee, which is surrounded by mountains and lush, is by far the largest village committee with the largest area of wild Ganoderma lucidum planted in Dajing.

Seeing us coming, Qin Dehong enthusiastically held out mountain springs and fruits and greeted us to sit down. After a short rest, Qin Dehong carried the basket on his back and took us into the mountains to pick Ganoderma lucidum.

Following Qin Dehong's footsteps, we plunged into the mountains. After more than an hour of climbing, Qin Dehong stepped aside and opened a clump of weeds. A fungus cap was the size of a palm, inlaid with golden borders, and a grayish-white Ganoderma lucidum at the bottom was exposed. Come closer and smell it. There is also a smell similar to dried mushrooms. "Look, this is Lingzhi spore powder. It's the most essential thing. This one is ready to be plucked." Qin Dehong pointed to the dark red powder on Ganoderma lucidum and said to us. After saying that, he carefully uprooted the Ganoderma and placed it in his basket.

By noon, Qin Dehong had already picked a lot of Lingzhi in his basket. Following him, we returned to his home. Qin Dehong introduced us to the ins and outs of the cultivation of bionic Ganoderma lucidum under the forest.

Because it is located in the alpine mountainous area, the per capita cultivated land of the Great Territory is less than 1 mu. For a long time, villagers living in the mountains have been cutting down trees for a living. The average annual income of villagers is less than 1000 yuan.

At the end of 2007, villagers heard from people outside the town that the conditions in the mountains were very suitable for planting Ganoderma lucidum. So the bold ones started to try planting. Qin Dehong wasn't the first person to "eat crabs", but his brain was brilliant. When he encountered a problem, he had a strong desire to break through the casserole and ask the bottom. Soon, he planted Ganoderma lucidum.

Looking at the whole country, many mountainous areas are developing Ganoderma lucidum industry. How to plant characteristics and occupy the market? Under the guidance of experts, the villagers took a characteristic path. "The average altitude in the mountains has reached 1500 meters. Pine trees, fir trees and cypress trees are very lush. It can be said that there are very good conditions for planting wild Ganoderma lucidum under the forest. We have planted three varieties of Ganoderma lucidum: one year old, three years old and five years old. The periodicity of outputs is more flexible. Every year in June and July, there are a large number of foreign merchants entering the mountain to place orders with us to purchase Ganoderma lucidum. Our Ganoderma lucidum is very popular in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangdong and Fujian." Qin Dehong said.

"Xiancao" fulfilled the villagers 'dream of getting rid of poverty

Spacious wooden house, small courtyard planted with roses, old Chinese toon with resin flowing in front of the door, young girl with shining eyes riding bicycle and singing leisurely in the yard... This is not an idyllic painting, but a daily scene in Qin Dehong's home.

A few years ago, like other villagers, Qin Dehong was also "relying on mountains to eat mountains", relying on felling trees to make a living. However, after planting Ganoderma lucidum, Qin Dehong's life has changed greatly.

The first change was that he became busy. Qin Dehong said, Because he has never planted Ganoderma lucidum, At first he was a little nervous, But looking at the village someone planted, He tried up. Qin Dehong said that imitating wild Ganoderma lucidum under the forest, as its name implies, is to create a very close to wild ecological environment, so that Ganoderma lucidum can absorb natural nutrients in the mountains. The steps of planting probably include picking spore powder, sterilizing pollination carrier, pollination, maintenance, migration and other steps.

The first step was to pick the right Ganoderma lucidum and collect the spore powder. Secondly, select the appropriate culture body, generally speaking, pine, cypress, fir and so on for the first choice. Third, high temperature disinfection of these wood sections, to prevent the bacteria carried in the wood affect the development of Ganoderma lucidum. After pollination, wait for Ganoderma lucidum to grow to a certain extent, and bury the wood section with fungus stick under the forest.

It sounds simple, but in practice, it encounters various problems. Qin Dehong said that since there was no modern steam disinfection boiler at the beginning, all disinfection links were manual."At that time, it was manual fire, and the wood was put into the iron pan for disinfection." For three days and three nights the fire could not be extinguished, so my wife and I took turns guarding there. The smoke was choking." Qin Dehong said. "Fortunately, my first year of trial planting was basically successful and I made a little money. Then I bought a steam sterilizer." Following Qin Dehong's finger, next door to the cabin, Qin Dehong bought a modern boiler, about three meters high, which was turning on steam to disinfect wood.

Growing lingzhi also has its failures. When Qin Dehong first started planting, there were also cases where spore powder was scattered and no Ganoderma lucidum was planted, or Ganoderma lucidum was underdeveloped. Encounter such a situation, he will immediately surf the Internet, call to consult the county experts. Slowly, he also accumulated some experience and became a semi-expert.

"Look, isn't my Lingzhi very big?" Qin Dehong said, conjuring out a "Lingzhi King." This Ganoderma lucidum is full in shape, dark in color, and the best thing is that its diameter is actually 40 cm. "Some time ago, there was an even bigger one. A boss took a fancy to it. I said I wouldn't sell it, but I still sold it after he tried to force me to sell it. It was expensive." Qin Dehong said proudly.
