Since late September, at four or five o'clock every morning, Wang Zhengdong, a farmer from Hongda Village, Yongfeng Town, Tianchang City, and his wife Liu Cuihua have been busy in their three edible mushroom greenhouses covering an area of 1.2 mu. About an hour and a half, baskets of fresh Flammulina velutipes and Pleurotus ostreatus were carried out from the shed. These fresh mushrooms are transported by van to Tianchang's major vegetable markets for sale. "fresh Flammulina velutipes and Pleurotus ostreatus must be picked and sold now if they want to sell them at a good price. Wang Zhengdong told me.

Wang Zhengdong, 49, once worked in the decoration business, worked as a small boss, and accumulated a certain amount of venture capital. Taking advantage of his family's location in the urban and rural areas of Tianchang, he made a big fuss on the adjustment of agricultural structure and aimed at the cultivation of edible fungi. This spring, he went to Jiangdu Edible Mushroom planting Base in Jiangsu Province twice to inspect and learn from the classics. when he came back, he invested more than 30,000 yuan, built a steel frame fixed plastic greenhouse, developed the cultivation of edible fungi, and asked the power supply station to set up a special electric line for the base. He bought more than 8000 bags of high-quality Flammulina velutipes, Pleurotus ostreatus and other strains from Jiangdu Edible Mushroom planting Base in Jiangsu Province, and hired professional and technical personnel for door-to-door guidance.

"Edible mushroom planting, details management is very important, our husband and wife busy in the greenhouse from morning to night, dare not be careless, although very hard, but the benefit is good." Wang Zhengdong said that now he picks 150 jin of fresh Flammulina velutipes and Pleurotus ostreatus every day and transports them to major vegetable markets in Tianchang. Flammulina velutipes and Pleurotus ostreatus can be sold at an average of 3 yuan per jin, and the price is expected to be a little higher when the Spring Festival peak season enters. According to his rough estimate, more than 40, 000 jin of Flammulina velutipes and Pleurotus ostreatus can be sold in the whole year, with a gross profit of 120000 yuan. Excluding various costs, the net income is more than 80, 000 yuan.
