One day in 2012, on his way home, he was so busy that he forgot to bring food home from his vegetable base. Wang Shuofeng was going to buy some at the vegetable market.

At the vegetable market, Wang Shuofeng recognized the vegetables grown in his base at a glance.

In the evening, when the food was ready and served to the table, Wang Shuofeng took only one bite and was lost in thought-- because there were too many wholesale links in the middle, not only the price of vegetables on the market was high, but also the transportation time was too long, and by the time it reached the hands of the public, it was no longer fresh.

Are there any business opportunities here?

After a night of hard thinking, Wang Shuofeng decided to reduce the intermediate link of vegetables from the base to the table. He opened six inexpensive vegetable direct sales supermarkets in Chenzhou City, Hunan Province.

This is the second big step for him to go back to his hometown to start a business-- the inexpensive direct selling supermarket, which not only reduces the price of vegetables, but also shortens the time for vegetables to be on the shelves, ensures the freshness of vegetables, and is quickly favored by local citizens. The direct marketing model of agricultural super-docking is also used for reference by other places.

Wang Shuofeng, 42, who has been a farmer for generations, does not read much, and he has been determined to jump out of the "agricultural gate" to live in big cities since he was a child. After graduating from high school, Wang Shuofeng followed the tide of people going south to work to Guangzhou. After working as a wage earner for two years and saving some money frugally, Wang Shuofeng's "commercial hormone" began to surge.

There are many migrant workers and parties in Guangzhou. As soon as the holiday hotel is booming, Wang Shuofeng decides to open a restaurant. It expanded from a small restaurant with eight tables to a three-story restaurant.

The days became warm and comfortable, but contradictions began to emerge: his parents were too old to leave their hometown to live in Guangzhou. Wang Shuofeng hesitated for a long time and finally transferred the restaurant and returned to Chenzhou.

In the years when he first returned to Chenzhou, Wang Shuofeng worked as a contractor and opened a wholesale department. In 2009, a friend invited him to contract farmland to grow vegetables. Wang Shuofeng felt that farming belonged to "the son inheriting his father's work". He should be able to do it, so he readily agreed. However, the reality is that Wang Shuofeng suffered a fiasco this year, lost millions of yuan, and the partners also dropped out.

"Food is the most important thing for the people. people can skip drinking and smoking all day, but they have to eat vegetables." Wang Shuofeng firmly believes that agriculture is absolutely in the right direction, and that as long as we find the reason, we will certainly be able to "make a comeback." To this end, it took him two years to prepare. Consult agricultural planting experts, do market research, and build sales channels. After doing all the preparatory work, in 2011, Wang Shuofeng bet on his entire family and doubled the area of the vegetable planting base.

This time, Wang Shuofeng bet correctly, and the vegetable base began to make a profit that year.

In 2012, Wang Shuofeng invested and established Sanhe Qiaolong Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd., building a vegetable demonstration base of 2000 mu and an alpine organic vegetable base of 400mu, which are sold to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macao and other places.

When he tasted the sweetness of growing vegetables, Wang Shuofeng decided to go out for a walk, have a look, and learn from other people's good experiences and practices. In Shouguang, Shandong, which has the laudatory name of "the hometown of vegetables in the country", Wang Shuofeng opened his eyes. "Welsh onions are taller than people, celery is thicker than thumbs, and towel gourd is several meters long." Wang Shuofeng said he was shocked to see these "monsters" that often appeared on the dinner table but had never seen before. A bold idea came to his mind: introduce the most advanced planting technology and build a vegetable leisure and sightseeing estate in Chenzhou.

Wang Shuofeng speaks gently and slowly, but acts vigorously and vigorously.

A year later, with an investment of 12 million yuan and covering an area of 1000 mu, the green sightseeing park "Aishang Sanhe vegetable Green Manor", which integrates tourism vacation, catering, accommodation and green cultivation, officially opened to welcome visitors. In 2014, the company achieved sales income of more than 5000 million yuan and directly arranged 385 jobs, driving the development of 38 farmhouse and farm inns in Sanhe village, leading the villagers to increase their annual income by 15000 yuan.

From determined to jump out of the agricultural gate, to return to the land, Wang Shuofeng believes that this is the real "jump out" of the agricultural gate.
