There is a small mountain village in Dachengzi Town, Ningcheng County, which is named Jiguan Mountain Village because of its proximity to a mountain shaped like a chicken crown. There are more than 73000 mu of land here, of which mountains account for nearly 3/4. Farmers have been living by farming for generations and have not been able to get rid of poverty.

In 2006, Jiguanshan Village began to develop apple tree planting industry because of its unique geographical advantages. the per capita income has changed from less than 2000 yuan in the past to more than 6000 yuan for fruit trees alone. Apple has become the main source of income for farmers. However, with the arrival of the peak fruit period of fruit trees, the increasing apple production year by year, "difficult to go" and "difficult to sell" are becoming two big stones in the hearts of Jiguan Mountain villagers.

Since the implementation of the "Ten full coverage" Huimin project, the highway entering the village has been developed from a single lane to two lanes, and cement roads have been opened in front of every house and on the edge of the big orchard, and the problem of difficult roads has been solved. In July this year, Wang Zhiyong, the village director newly elected by the villagers, also brought hope to the villagers to solve the difficulty of selling Apple.

Wang Zhiyong, a 32-year-old Jiguanshan villager, left the village at the age of 20, driving a taxi, doing odd jobs and collecting grain, and now the steel business is booming. This year he returned to the village and wanted to lead everyone to do the industry together. Speaking of why he came back, his idea was very simple: "I am a child in the mountains. I opened my eyes and made money out of the mountains. I want to use my eyes to help the villagers change the green mountains and waters of Jiguan Mountain into real gold and silver."

Wang Zhiyong is optimistic about the apple industry in the village. he believes that the "difficulty in selling apples" in the village has something to do with the villagers' inherent thinking of planting and fragmented sales in each household. Last year, he transferred the wasteland to build a farm to plant apple trees from the villagers. after the plan was completed, he adopted the cooperation between the company and farmers to standardize the production of apples, leading farmers to change their concepts of conservation, packaging, and marketing. gradually integrate Jiguan Mountain Village Apple into a high-end Apple brand, further open the big market and raise awareness. At present, his farm has begun to take shape.

Wang Zhiyong also saw the potential of picking and tourism in Jiguanshan Village. "there are more than a dozen kinds of fruit trees, such as walnut trees, pear trees, apricot trees, apple trees, and so on. The stream running through the village in the four seasons, the azaleas in the mountains in spring, the apricot blossoms along the river, the mountain scenery in summer, and the red apples in autumn. The scenery of Jiguan Mountain in the four seasons is very beautiful." This year, "Ten full coverage" has repaired the roads that the villagers are most concerned about. The village has specially built a parking lot, a painting and calligraphy art exhibition hall, a red Ningcheng picture exhibition hall, and a butterfly exhibition hall. Many more people have come into the mountains than in previous years. Wang Zhiyong told reporters that the apples picked and sold this year alone accounted for 1/4 of the total apple sales in the village.

A good start has given Wang Zhiyong more confidence in his next work. Next year, the walls of the village will be planted with Parthenocissus, decorate the countryside with real scenery, and open another 20 "farm music" to raise the level of tourism reception.
