In Luyang Town, Luyang Town, Beizhen City, Liaoning Province, Li Dayong, a young man born in the 1980s, is a little famous. He studied in Japan, but returned to his hometown to start a business. at a young age, he was the chairman of the cooperative and a new type of professional farmer. With what he has learned, he has led the people of his hometown on a fast track to get rich.

Li Dayong was born in 1982. His father, Li Kai, is a veteran agricultural technology promoter who set up a professional cooperative for farmers. In order to enable his son to study the advanced model of foreign agriculture, after graduating from high school, Li Dayong applied for the regional environmental science of the Department of Agricultural and Life Sciences of Hirosaki University in Japan to study regional environmental management. When he graduated from university, he resolutely gave up the opportunity of employment in Japan. In 2011, he returned to his father's peasant cooperative economic organization, the Beizhen Li Kai Fruit and vegetable planting Professional Cooperative, and was directly involved in production, operation and organizational operation.

At that time, cooperatives mainly produced seasonal vegetables and supplied the market, followed the market, did not form a brand, the market competitiveness was low, and agricultural products were often unmarketable. Li Dayong suggested that members produce green food vegetables, strictly follow the operating rules for the production of green food vegetables formulated by the cooperative, actively carry out 15 certification of green food vegetables, create the brand of "worry-free" green food vegetables, and sign an agreement with Shenyang Dadong non-staple Food Group to realize agricultural super docking.

In order to give full play to the exemplary and leading role of cooperatives and help many members shake off poverty and become rich through science and technology, Li Dayong also actively solved the problem of prenatal seedlings for farmers. Luyang Town, located in the Daling River Basin, has a tradition of growing watermelons. In the past, land rotation was often used to solve the problem of soil-borne diseases in watermelon production, but in recent years, land rotation encountered bottlenecks to the extent that there was no land to grow. In order to solve the problem of soil-borne diseases, Li Dayong and his father went to Shandong Weili seedlings and other seedling enterprises to inspect and study intensive seedling production. After coming back, they introduced the grafting technology of watermelon grafting and made continuous innovation. according to the physiological characteristics of watermelon and rootstock, they adopted the grafting technique of double root cutting, which not only improved the survival rate of seedlings, but also showed slow seedling speed and early ripening for about 10 days. The fruit yield increased by more than 20%, and the resistance was strong, which significantly increased the income of farmers.

Li Dayong's cooperative not only solves problems in agricultural production for its members, but also provides free technical services to farmers in neighboring provinces and cities. On one occasion, tomatoes planted in greenhouses in several farmers' homes in Jintun Village, Linghai City, did not emerge or burn seedlings. Li Dayong personally drove to the scene to check the cause after hearing the news. By observing and asking farmers about fertilization, it was diagnosed as excessive application of immature farm manure in the year round, resulting in excessive accumulation of organic acids in the soil, resulting in rotten seeds. To this end, he suggested that several farmers had better put raw chicken manure into the ground after fully maturing. For the phenomenon of burning seedlings, we can pour a lot of water to wash the poison source into the soil, explain the reasons for farmers in line with reality, and tell farmers how to solve it. The spirit of conscientiousness and responsibility moved the farmers.

Although he returned from studying in Japan, Li Dayong also attached great importance to improving his level of agricultural management. He was not ashamed to ask questions from experts. He participated in the relevant business training held by the Liaoning Provincial Rural Economic Commission, the Provincial seed Administration and the China Green Food Development Center, and successively obtained the qualifications of samplers, field inspectors and inspectors in green food enterprises, making himself a comprehensive professional farmer. "Agriculture needs new knowledge, new technologies and new ideas. I will continue to study and work hard to make greater contributions to running our specialized fruit and vegetable planting cooperatives and bringing rich farmers." When asked about his next plan, Li Dayong said.
