In 2009, the ambitious Huo Haiqiong planned to change careers. By chance, she learned about the great value of snakes on TV. Huo Haiqiong, who found the direction, was full of drive and spent more than a year worshiping teachers in Chongqing, Guangxi and other places to learn the skills of raising snakes.

As soon as I heard that Huo Haiqiong wanted to raise snakes, the friends around her advised each other, "if you don't sleep well at night, you don't want to make any money!" In 2010, with her husband's encouragement, Huo Haiqiong invested more than 300,000 yuan to build a snake farm and buy cobra eggs. Qiu Famao is a middle school teacher. In order to support his wife's career, he rushes back to the snake farm from school every evening after self-study, cleans up and feeds the cobra with his wife, and then goes back to school for morning self-study the next morning. The survival rate of the first batch of cobras is more than 80%. More than 2000 cobras have brought Huo Haiqiong and her family more than 400,000 yuan in economic benefits.

On September 29 this year, the brand "Yilongkang" snake wine created by Huo Haiqiong was officially put on the market after passing the inspection by the Santai County Bureau of Industry and Commerce, the Bureau of quality Supervision, the Food and Drug Administration and other relevant departments.

According to reports, in order to broaden the development, Huo Haiqiong began to make snake wine in 2013 and received the help of Professor Li of Chengdu Institute of Biology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in March this year. This also marks Huo Haiqiong's return to her hometown to start a business and ushered in a new journey.

After nearly five years of painstaking management, Huo Haiqiong's snake farm has become a professional snake farm covering an area of more than 2000 square meters, with 15 snake rooms, 2 hatching rooms and 2 baby snake rooms. There are more than 20000 cobras, hydrologic snakes, king snakes and black snakes.
