The National Hybrid Rice Engineering and Technology Research Center conducted fertilizer efficiency experiments at the main base of Furong District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, and selected five well-known brands of fertilizers, such as Yangfeng Super Rice Special Fertilizer, for comparative planting experiments. under the same planting conditions, planting area, crop varieties (Chaoyouqian), fertilization period and fertilizer amount, in 18 plots with the same area and plants, 3 plots with 5 kinds of fertilizers. Another kind of three non-fertilization plot comparison, each district of 30 square meters, set up a "competition" to compete. On October 13, artificial harvesting and weighing on the spot, and on October 12 before harvest, three plants were taken from each plot for seed testing. The fertilizer efficiency of Yangfeng super rice ranked first.

Led by Yuan Longping, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the National Hybrid Rice Engineering and Technology Research Center carried out the experiment to verify the yield-increasing effect of five kinds of fertilizers for the purpose of increasing the yield of super hybrid rice "Chaoyouqian". Screening fertilizer varieties suitable for the growth and development characteristics of super hybrid rice. The total amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium of the five fertilizers selected by the center is the same, and the insufficient part is made up by adjusting the dosage, keeping the information confidential, numbering and registering for the record, managing by special personnel, harvesting and weighing on the spot and publishing the corresponding fertilizer name, taking the yield as the main evaluation index. Through the experiment, Yangfeng super rice special compound fertilizer has the greatest improvement on rice yield potential, and the two yield components are more obvious, such as maximizing the increase of effective panicle and seed setting rate.
