Yangzhou University College of Agriculture learned that the Science and Technology Department of Jiangsu Province recently organized experts from relevant universities and agricultural scientific research units to carry out actual production acceptance of the rice pot seedling precise machine-inserted super-high-yield cultivation solution in Yaojia Village, fishing town, Xinghua City. After measuring the area, weighing and measuring the moisture content and impurity rate of rice samples, the final calculation showed that the average yield per mu of the solution in 2015 was 987.8 kg, of which the highest field yield per mu reached 1017.7 kg. Set a record for the highest yield of rice in China's rice-wheat double cropping area.

Yaojia Village, Fishing Town, Xinghua City, is one of the demonstration areas of rice pot seedling precise machine transplanting super-high-yield cultivation jointly implemented by Yangzhou University and Agricultural Technology Extension Center of Xinghua City in Jiangsu Province to promote national grain high-yield science and technology project. On the same square of land here, the same variety and the same technology are used to create a stable super-high-yield record of exceeding 800 kg per mu for 10 consecutive years of rice and wheat double cropping, and a super-high-yield record of exceeding 900 kg per mu for four consecutive years. This year, the rice area of the tackling party is 102.5 mu, and the super-high-yield rice variety indica-japonica hybrid rice Yongyou 2640 is selected. The tackling party adopts precise cultivation of potted seedlings, with high population uniformity, good balance, sufficient panicle number, large panicle type, sufficient storage capacity, good seed setting, green mature phase and high yield.

Yaojiacun can stably realize super-high yield, the key lies in the high-yield varieties and advanced agricultural technology to provide the most direct support. During the implementation of the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" National Grain High-yield Science and Technology Project, Yangzhou University, Jiangsu Province Crop Cultivation Technology Guidance Station, Jiangsu Province Agricultural Machinery Technology Extension Station, Changzhou Yameike Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. and other units adopted the method of integrating agricultural machinery and agronomy to solve the major technical problems of low productivity and difficult high yield of the original rice platy-growing blanket seedlings. Special study on key techniques such as adaptability of rice variety pot seedling machine-transplanting cultivation, cultivation method of pot body strong seedling, quality factors of machine-transplanting and density effect, field fertilizer and water management, etc. and tackling key problems of super-high-yield cultivation systematically clarified the production advantages, growth and development characteristics and (super) high-yield formation law of rice pot seedling machine-transplanting, and established the precise high-yield cultivation technology system of rice pot seedling.
