Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Han Jun, a farmer in Qingan County, is the way to get rich by breeding.

In Tongqing Village, Tongle Town, Qingan County, Han Jun's name can be described as resounding-in the past, he was just a farmer who ploughed the fields with his cattle facing the loess, but now he is a well-known cattle farmer who leads a leisurely life. In his own words, it was the cow that made him successful in the past and now, so he wants to keep on doing this "coaxing" career.

Recently, when the author came to Tun Hanjun's home in Tongqing village, he was feeding grass to 47 old cattle in the newly built cowshed.

The 50-year-old Han Jun is a native of Tongxing. Looking at his "boisterous" career, you may not expect that he was also a migrant worker who left his hometown in order to make a living.

Han Jun said that although the family also raised cattle in the past, it was for ploughing, and the main source of income was soybeans and corn. "there were five or six cows at home at that time." He told me that the reason for raising so many cattle is that his family has 30 mu of land. "over the course of a year, the per capita gross income of corn and soybeans is more than 2000 yuan."

Later, Han Jun's son gradually grew up, his father was old and sick, and the family expenses were getting bigger and bigger. "the money for selling grain alone will certainly not be enough." As a result, Han Jun said, he had to sell the calves born by the family's cows, with prices ranging from 50 to 1000 yuan each. "over the past year, the per capita gross income has increased several times to more than 3000 yuan."

With the improvement of living standards, Han Jun felt more and more that his income could not make ends meet: "the son wants to go to school, the father needs money to treat illness, and he needs money everywhere." In early 1997, Han Jun decided to go out to work. In Fujian Province, he applied for a job as a brick porter in a brick factory and earned more than 10,000 yuan a year.

In 2002, the financial pressure on his family decreased, which loosened his shoulders a little bit, so he wanted to return home and start his own business. After consultation with his wife, Han Jun returned to his hometown to start raising beef cattle.

Han Jun is full of drive, does everything himself, and buys books on breeding to read. "I bought 30 calves in the first batch and spent 150000 yuan, which was all my savings." Han Jun said that after careful care, the calf grows very well. By the end of the year, he left the cows to breed, and all the beef cattle were sold. "nearly 10 cattle, large and small, were sold with an income of more than 100,000 yuan." With his efforts and gains, he also strengthened his confidence to keep on raising cattle.

In the second half of 2012, Han Jun built a beef cattle farm covering an area of nearly 10,000 square meters, with a support fund of 35000 yuan.

"I used the money to buy six or seven calves and some feed." Han Jun said that due to the limited capacity of the bullpen, his total number of cattle is limited to about 30 mur. if he sells it, he will be newly introduced and will be sold in time. Today, he produces at least 30 beef cattle every year, making a profit of more than 300,000 yuan and a net income of more than 200,000 yuan excluding breeding costs.

Han Jun admitted that he encountered a lot of difficulties at the beginning of his business, but his hard work always paid off. Now his sales market has been opened and his annual income is also very stable. "my cattle are a combination of stocking and grain feeding. The meat is of good quality and is loved by everyone. Agricultural products should also pay attention to quality. " Han Jun said happily.

Now, all the villagers nearby come to Han Jun for "lessons", and he is happy to impart his experience in raising cattle to everyone to help them start a business. "I plan to set up cooperatives with two other cattle farmers in the same village next year and expand the scale of cooperatives to 500 in the next three years." Han Jun said that he will try his best to help everyone breed together and achieve common prosperity.
