Change to grape after the failure of planting jujube

Bi Niansheng joined the armed militia in 1971, participated in national defense construction at the 4929 construction site in Nanjing, conducted three years of mass line education in Xingxiang and other places, worked as a village branch secretary in Dingzhuang from 1984 to 1994, and later went through the Shang Dynasty.

In 1995, he went to Shandong for an inspection. When he saw that Shandong jujube was better, he came back to contract 50 mu of barren mountain to plant jujube. Due to climate maladjustment, Shandong jujube did not grow well, and nearly 200000 yuan invested went down the drain. Everyone in Dingzhuang knows this.

Failed to grow jujube, win all the year round to plant Jufeng grape, and because everyone planted Jufeng, the economic benefit is relatively low. In 1998, he asked Fang Jisheng, a model worker at that time, to help me buy some new varieties from other places and dig up the two-year-old giant peak to plant new varieties. The saplings of the new variety grew for two years and did not bear fruit. He dug them up again and went to Zhangjiagang to choose many excellent varieties cultivated in the greenhouse. After several years of screening, the varieties suitable for cultivation in the park and welcomed by the market were finally determined.

There has not been a year without construction in recent years.

In the last five years, Bi Niansheng has dug up the old Jufeng tree year by year, rebuilt the linkage greenhouse, and planted new varieties of grapes in the greenhouse. There are more grape varieties, and the picking period is extended from July to October every year. Before others sell grapes, he has already started to sell them. When other people's grapes have been sold out, he can continue to sell them. Five years ago, his annual income from growing grapes was more than 100,000 yuan, and this year it was more than 200,000 yuan. In two years, they will strive for more. He likes to do things, and there will be a sense of satisfaction when he gets it done, so he hasn't been building a farm in the past four or five years.

Now, the main varieties of grapes on the farm are Xiahi, Jufeng, Beauty finger, Goldfinger, Red Rosa, White Rosa, Red Barado, Red Rose, Giant Rose, Sunshine Rose and so on. People in Zhenjiang are familiar with summer black, beauty fingers, roses and so on. A case of grapes will be more popular if sold with different colors and varieties.

This year, the Municipal Committee of Agriculture and the Maoshan town government promoted the Internet, e-commerce and other channels to help people sell grapes. This year, the big grower went to Taiwan and Japan to investigate and learn the techniques of grape planting. He wanted to plant fine grapes in all the vineyards. Through three years of efforts, the family farm was built into a boutique family farm integrating picking, sightseeing, fishing, catering, and compound farming. When tourists come to the farm, they can not only fish and pick vegetables, but also taste the chickens, ducks and geese here.

Farmers in Taiwan and Japan are still busy when they are in their seventies and eighties, which makes them more motivated and determined to win all their lives. Last year, their farm was named as a family farm in Zhenjiang City and received a bonus of 50,000 yuan. At present, every family in Dingzhuang grows grapes, with a small amount of five or six mu, with a per capita annual income of 20,000 to 30,000.
