"cut me a jin of lean pork", "cut me a jin of ribs", "cut me 2 jin of pork belly". Recently, in Yihuang County Junfeng wild animal husbandry ecological pork store sales site, many citizens have snapped up characteristic pork. In the face of the fire-running sales scene, the shopkeeper Chen Ding told the reporter happily that he was a professional pig farmer and had 10 years of pig-raising experience. He gradually found out the model of raising mountain pigs from captive pigs, and finally won the favor of consumers. During the interview, the reporter followed him into the deep mountain pig base and learned the behind-the-scenes story of his pig-raising business.

In order to update the aquaculture technology, Chen has to learn everywhere. In 2002, Chen Ding was trained by the Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences to learn epidemic prevention breeding and pig artificial insemination. In 2005, Chen Dingde returned to his hometown, Dashankou Village, Shengang Township, and set up his own pig farm. With excellent pig-raising technology, captive pigs have embarked on a large-scale road, from more than 40 pigs to more than 300 pigs.

As Dashankou Village is located at the foot of Junfeng Mountain, close to the forest, Chen Dingde made up the idea of deep mountains and old forests. "the mountains are good, the water is good, and the air is good. After the pigs are released, the meat will be more game." Chen Dingde decided to try to release the pig to the mountain and let the pig go to the wild forest in the mountains to plough for food and enjoy it.

In 2013, Chen Ding crossbred local native sows with excellent boars and bred 19 special mountain pigs based on years of pig-raising experience. During the day, the mountain boar was driven into the forest to eat wild vegetables and weeds, and then rushed home at night to feed a small amount of corn and rice bran. Compared with traditional captive pigs, pigs raised in mountainous areas can enjoy enough sunshine, fresh air, clean water, and have never been injected with any pig disease vaccine and other drugs, pork quality is higher, nutrition is also more abundant. "Meat is waxy and refreshing, fat but not greasy." Pigs are becoming more and more marketable, and demand exceeds supply in the market.

Chen Ding, who tasted the sweetness for the first time, was so confident that he decided to expand the scale of stocking. At the beginning of last year, he contracted 500 mu of mountain areas, built pig farms directly on the mountains, and cultivated more than 100 special mountain pigs to breed in the mountain forests. When I came to Chen Dingde's breeding base, I saw lush trees, gurgling streams, crisp birds, fresh air, rows of standardized pig pens built on the mountain, and groups of mountain pigs playing and foraging in the forest.

Chen Dingde told reporters that with the help of the local government, he has registered the trademark of Junfeng wild animal husbandry ecological pigs, and in accordance with the "leader + base + farmers" model, drive the surrounding farmers who are suitable for raising pigs to join the ecological breeding industry. At present, it has led five surrounding villagers to raise mountain pigs, with a total of more than 500.
