When many college graduates travel to big cities for their dreams; when many college graduates are not used to working and go home to eat their old age; when many college graduates are facing difficulties in finding jobs, Baisha college students Fu Nanteng choose to go back to their hometown to raise chickens and start their own businesses. With the support of the local government, he, who earned the first bucket of gold in his life, did not forget to return to society, hoping to drive more people to get rich together.

Recently, under the guidance of Zhang Fan, director of the Agricultural Service Center of Jinbo Township, Baisha Li Autonomous County, a reporter from the International Tourism Island Business Daily came to a rubber forest in the Baisha Mountains to interview Fu Nanteng, a promising local youth, to learn about his story of giving up his job in the city with a monthly salary of more than 4000 yuan and going home to raise chickens and become rich.

The stranger broke into the rubber forest and startled the golden rooster.

At more than 4 p.m. on December 18, the winter sun shines through the treetops in the small mountain village of Jinbo Township, Baisha County, Hainan Province.

When the reporter and his party passed through a rubber forest in Baida Village, Jinbo Township, the first thing they saw was a picturesque original ecological landscape-squatting on the branches of the rubber tree, waiting for flocks of golden pheasants.

When everyone walked cautiously and softly to the depths of the rubber forest, the frightened pheasants screamed and flew to the simple house not far away.

"the house ahead is Fu Nanteng's chicken farm!" Director Zhang Fan pointed to the simple tin house where the pheasant flew down and told the reporter that the rubber forest around the tin house, not far from the village, can be regarded as an isolated "golden rooster forest."

Director Zhang explained that every time he came from the countryside to visit Xiao Fu, he saw golden pheasants flying all over the branches. Every time he saw this scene, he always felt that this was a "golden rooster forest" full of hope.

Working for two years only earns more than ten thousand yuan, persevering in dreams and not afraid of people's words.

While speaking, the reporter and his party were already in the golden pheasant flock. Not far away, a gentle, bespectacled young man came from the rubber forest to greet everyone in a friendly manner.

Had it not been for Director Zhang, the young man in front of us would be Fu Nanteng, and it would be very difficult for the reporter to connect him with the chicken farmer.

According to reports, Fu Nanteng, 27, graduated from a key university in Anhui in 2012. After graduation, he successively worked as an e-commerce and website in Hangzhou for two years, with a monthly income of 4,000 to 5,000 yuan. After careful calculation, excluding the city's high rent, living expenses, and commuting fares, there was only 15000 yuan left in two years.

"Last year, my father died of illness, and all the burden of the family fell on me. Both my brother in college and my sister in high school needed a lot of money. In any case, my salary was not enough." Fu Nanteng said that in order to help his family get out of trouble, he specially went home to do market research, quit his job and went back to the village to raise chickens.

"when I heard that I was going home to raise chickens, my classmates and colleagues in college laughed at me for being stupid. My relatives and friends kept on advising me not to go home to embarrass myself and make people laugh." Xiao Fu said that everyone thinks that a college student raising chickens at home is bitter and dirty, which is not as honorable as sitting in an office as a white-collar worker.

Rely on the perfect ecological environment to succeed in the first attempt.

"in order to save the fare, my friend and I each rode a tricycle for 400 kilometers through Danzhou, Qiongzhong and Tunchang, bought back 500 pheasants, and started to do so." Fu Nanteng recalled that in July 2014, he finished taking care of his father's affairs and immediately started his chicken raising business.

"at that time, when I was fed with water, I was afraid of the chicks choking, and when I was fed, I was afraid of the chicks choking." Fu Nanteng told the reporter with a smile that because he had no experience in raising chickens and was worried about wild cats and snakes coming to eat chickens, he simply ate and slept with chickens every day in the same room.

With diligence and studiousness, Fu Nanteng quickly learned from the Internet and training courses to feed chickens and prevent and cure chicken diseases. All his 500 chickens grew up and came out of the fence at the beginning of 2015 under Fu Nanteng's meticulous care, making a net profit of more than 10,000 yuan excluding the cost. Fu Nanteng, who succeeded at the first try, greatly increased his determination and confidence in raising chickens. He decided to expand the scale of the chicken farm.

"because our pheasants grow in rubber forests surrounded by mountains, eat worms and earthworms, drink mountain spring water, have smooth meat, and taste sweet and delicious." Fu Nanteng said that because of the superior ecological environment in the mountains, his pheasant market is very good.

The government helps to earn 80,000 a year and wants to make more people rich.

"in early 2015, after selling those 500 chickens, I began to expand the size of the chicken farm, built three additional chicken houses and bought 2000 chickens. Together with the 1000 chickens supported by the government, I have raised a total of 3000 chickens. " Fu Nanteng said gratefully that with the support of the Jinbo township government, his net income this year has reached more than 80,000 yuan.

Fu Nanteng said that when the Jinbo township government learned that he had returned to his hometown to start a business, it encouraged him to set up cooperatives and use his own e-commerce expertise to open online stores, so as to drive more villagers to raise chickens and become rich. In December this year, with the support of the Jinbo township government, he has led five villagers to set up a Baisha Mountain and Water farming Cooperative and carefully designed the packaging of mountain eggs.

"I am now working on using the e-commerce technology I learned in university to sell Jinbo's yam, pheasant, sweet potato, Ganoderma lucidum and other ecological agricultural products online and offline." Speaking of his greatest ideal, Fu Nanteng said that he hopes to put up the sign of "golden rooster and golden egg" in accordance with the township plan, so as to drive more villagers to become rich.

"at the beginning of this year, our township leaders heard that there was a diligent and down-to-earth college student in the village who had returned to his hometown to start a business. He supported a number of young chickens. " Director Zhang told reporters that Wu Mei, secretary of the township, and Zeng Yongjun, the head of the township, attached special importance to promising young people like Xiaofu. Township leaders hope that Fu Nanteng will build a chicken farm that integrates hatching and raising chickens, develop Jinbo's "golden rooster" industry, and lead more villagers to become rich.
