Last Updated: 2024/09/19, Officials of Nantong University Village in Jiangsu Province use "Internet +" to dig gold in Australian lobster market.

Ju Wenyou, an official of Jiangsu University Village, is at the lobster farming base in Australia.

Australian lobster is a must-have dish for high-end dining tables, and the price remains high. In Jiuduo Village, Yazhou Town, Hai'an County, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, there is the largest Australian lobster farming base north of the Yangtze River. Since mid-December, people have been coming and going, and the first net Aolong here has been listed. One of the entrepreneurial partners of the breeding base is Ju Wenyou, who hired a university student village official in Jiangsu Province and is now the party branch secretary of Jiuduo Village.

Attracting investment and attracting the largest Aolong breeding base north of the Yangtze River

Ju Wenyou is 28 years old. in attracting investment, by chance, he met Shi Haoping, a young boss engaged in aquaculture. Shi Haoping is also only 28 years old, but he has about 5 years of farming experience. Two contemporaries soon became friends who talked about everything, talking about ideals, talking about life, and talking about entrepreneurship.

In early 2015, when Ju Wenyou invited Shi Haoping to Yazhou Town, Shi Haoping found that the water, soil, air and other environmental conditions here are very good, especially in line with the conditions of Australian lobster farming. After discussing the matter with Ju Wenyou, the two people who also wanted to do something important hit it off. In order to confirm accurately, Ju Wenyou contacted Nantong Environmental Monitoring Station and collected local water and soil samples. the test results showed that the water PH value, ammonia nitrogen content and algae phase of Yazhou Town all met the requirements of Australian lobster culture. at the same time, the sandy soil in this area is naturally filtered, which is conducive to the adsorption of impurities and dead substances in the water.

Open up the market and take the route of e-commerce

Because Australian lobster culture technology is difficult to master, the market has been in short supply. "before the Australian lobster came on the market, we did marketing through the Internet, and the effect was very good. Several dealers in Beijing and Shanghai competed for booking, and the market was no problem!" Ju Wenyou introduced him confidently. It is understood that in recent days, their first net has harvested nearly 10000 jin of Australian dragon, with sales exceeding 1 million.

Speaking of next year's plan, Ju Wenyou told reporters that he also plans to declare pollution-free agricultural products and registered trademarks, raise the popularity of lobster, and open a shop to sell Australian lobster on the online e-commerce platform.

Raise funds and start construction, with the largest scale in Central Jiangsu

The huge market of Aolong deeply attracted the two boys. After careful planning, the two decided to do as soon as they could. The planned area of the farm is 120mu, with a total of 6 shrimp ponds, with a total investment estimated to reach 10 million yuan, and the first phase investment is expected to be 3 million yuan. Without the slightest hesitation of the two aggressive young men, Ju Wenyou persuaded the family to come up with personal and family savings of more than 500,000 yuan, and Shi Haoping also took out more than 2 million yuan accumulated by starting a business over the years. After the initial funds were in place, the land was quickly transferred under the coordination of the Yazhou town government, and construction began in January this year.

Because the fry of Australian lobster is very small, with 16000 in a kilo, it is easy to be eaten by natural enemies such as frogs, rice field eels and small fish, so the water drawn from nearby rivers has to be strictly filtered. In order to prevent the fish from escaping the net, Ju Wenyou built a set of water filtration system. The water pumped from the river is first disinfected and purified through a pool, and then transported to various shrimp ponds through pipelines. The inlets of shrimp ponds are equipped with filtration devices to fully ensure the purity of the water.

Scientific breeding, using the thought of "Internet +"

In the breeding process, Ju Wenyou used "Internet +" thinking, through computers, mobile phones and other terminals to achieve intelligent, automatic, accurate, remote management and control of the production process. Real-time monitoring and adjustment of 24-hour water temperature, dissolved oxygen and pH value in shrimp ponds, etc., he opened his mobile phone at a glance, remote and accurate measurement and control of various indicators of the pond, shrimp pond oxygen, bait done with one button. According to reports, the use of this technology can reduce the amount of labor by 38% and save electricity costs by about 35%.
