Three ups and downs of edible mushroom business transferred to Beijing

In 1988, after graduating from high school, Lan Shunming didn't go to school and started the department store business. Once I met a Jianyang man who sold fungus with a bag of fungus and was sold out as soon as he put it on the ground.

However, Lan Shunming did not choose fungus, and later learned about Flammulina velutipes through newspapers and other magazines, so he made up his mind to learn this technology. Subsequently, Lan Shunming went to Shanghai, Fujian, Hubei and other agricultural universities or scientific research institutions to learn the planting technology of edible fungi.

In 1989, Lan Shunwu returned from his studies and taught the cultivation techniques of edible fungi to local farmers, and then distributed the seeds to the farmers. The edible fungi grown by farmers are then recycled and sold to local canneries for canning.

"at that time, edible fungi did not have a large domestic market, so they were generally canned and sold abroad." Lan Shunming said that it would not be long before the cans could not be sold because of international reasons. The cannery owed him more than 200,000 yuan, and he also owed the farmers more than 100,000 yuan.

Lan Shunming's first venture failed.

In 1992, the edible mushroom market improved. Lan Shunming regained his strength and began to drive farmers to plant edible fungi, with a scale of 400 mu. Three years later, the scale doubled to 800 mu. Did not expect to encounter the Asian financial crisis in 1996, edible fungi are also affected.

"with a loss of more than 2 million yuan, we still owe more than 1 million to farmers, leaving more than 200 tons of edible mushrooms to be sold." Lan Shunming said that he was originally a millionaire and then became a destitute who owed money.

In 2000, China's catering industry began to be popular, edible fungi gradually improved in the domestic market, more than 200 tons of edible fungi have a market. After selling out, I just paid off the money I owed to the farmers.

However, this also allows Lan Shunming to win the reputation of integrity. Lan Shunming set up a company to develop his edible fungus, which reached 3000 mu in eight years, but was destroyed by the earthquake in 2008.

Lan Shunming said that after the earthquake, the construction industry became hot, and many people went to build houses and were unwilling to engage in the cultivation of edible fungi. As a result, he took more than 50 members of his team to Beijing for development.

In Beijing, Lan Shunming led his team to start a business. In 2009, in cooperation with local listed companies in Beijing, a 300-mu edible mushroom leisure industrial park was built, with an annual output value of more than 10 million yuan.

Not long ago, Lan Shunming's company was listed as a scientific and technological innovation demonstration base by Deyang Science and Technology Bureau and Jingyang District Science and Technology Bureau, and as a demonstration base for the construction of a standardized demonstration park for the vegetable basket project of the Ministry of Agriculture by the Ministry of Agriculture.
