Later, she went to the municipal and district agricultural machinery extension stations to consult and learn rice transplanter technology. The municipal and district agricultural machinery extension stations gave strong support to this, arranged Lu Xiuli and her husband Shen Chao to participate in the technical training of rice transplanter and the skill training of rice transplanter operators in the municipal and district areas, and arranged special personnel to go deep into the field to track and guide the whole process. From 2006 to 2007, despite strong opposition from her family, Lu Xiuli bought back three transplanters with the help of local agricultural machinery extension stations. Villagers said, did not expect to let Lu Xiuli this "naive bold" to make the machine transplanting.

In 2008, under the careful guidance and assistance of municipal and district agricultural machinery bureaus, Lu Xiuli established Xiuli Agricultural Machinery Service Professional Cooperative and purchased 6 high-speed rice transplanters again. In 2009, in order to expand the scope of agricultural machinery services, Lu Xiuli successively purchased large tractors, combine harvesters and other agricultural machinery to provide farmers with "one-stop" services from wheat harvesting, straw returning to fields, land cultivation, rice seed purchase, seedling raising to rice planting. Farmers are thus freed from inefficient toil and the problem of unstable employment during busy seasons is solved.

In 2011, due to water shortage, farmers did not supply water in time, resulting in the death of large seedlings, and cooperatives gave priority to their own seedlings to farmers. Although the agricultural machinery department helped Lu Xiuli transfer seedlings from other places, due to time, weather, transportation and other reasons, this season's rice yield is very low, Lu Xiuli lost more than 700,000 yuan. Even in such difficulties, Lu Xiuli still did not give up on the road of agricultural mechanization.

With the help of the Municipal Agricultural Machinery Bureau, in 2012, she and her husband Shen Chao participated in the manager training of agricultural machinery professional cooperatives in the whole city, applied the advanced management concept and innovative operation mode of agricultural machinery professional cooperatives to the self-development of cooperatives, and expanded their business from Wangguanji Town to other towns and even provinces in our city.
