Surrounded by green hills, surrounded by green water, full of cattle and sheep, flocks of ducks and geese, clear water, fish and fertilizer, full of fruits and vegetables. This picturesque pastoral picture depicts the ecological landscape of Yujiawu Village, Yixing Town, Xichong County. On January 4, the reporter came to the village and interviewed the person in charge of the plantation, Li Liangjun.

Drive from Xichong County, drive more than 40 kilometers and then come to Yujiawu Village. "Welcome, welcome." As soon as I got out of the car, I saw Li Liangjun waiting at the entrance of the village. Seeing the arrival of the reporter and his party, he hurriedly came forward to greet him.

"you see, that is my ecological planting and breeding garden." Accompanied by Li Liangjun, a group of people walked into his ecological planting and breeding garden, bathed in the warm sunshine, smelling the fragrance of the soil, and experienced a clean and leisurely pastoral life.

In order to realize a dream, he resolutely returned to his hometown to be a farmer.

On the way, when the reporter asked why to create the original ecological agricultural products? Li Liangjun opened his heart to reporters, saying it stems from his dream of "ecological agriculture".

In the past, he used to work in a state-owned enterprise. after being laid off, he went to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and other coastal cities to work hard, built roads and bridges, and also worked in real estate. After years of hard work, he finally accumulated rich capital.

Li Liangjun not only likes to read newspapers and periodicals, but also likes to surf the Internet. He keeps abreast of the latest developments in agriculture through the media and pays attention to those valuable agricultural reports. He learned that at present, in rural areas, because young people have gone out to work, resulting in a large number of left-behind elderly, left-behind children, a lot of land has been abandoned; on the other hand, a variety of food safety problems continue to make him feel sad.

Until one day, Li Liangjun learned from the news that Xichong was making great efforts to develop modern agriculture, the words "modern agricultural ecological planting" deeply touched the dream hidden in his heart for many years.

"everyone has their own dreams. I have been yearning for pastoral life since I was a child, but I just don't have the courage to try." Li Liangjun said with a smile that in recent years, people have paid more and more attention to food safety, and he came up with the idea of building an "ecological farm" in the countryside. He said that growing agricultural products without any pollution is not only the direction of agricultural development in the future, but also a dream of his own. For this dream, he resolutely left Shenzhen and returned to the west to work as a farmer.

Li Liangjun said that his move is difficult to understand in the eyes of many people. Unexpectedly, he got the support of his wife. With the support of his wife, Li Liangjun strengthened his determination. In May 2013, he contracted more than 800 mu of land in Yujiawu Village, Yixing Town, and began to move towards his dream of ecological agriculture step by step.

Insist on using ecological methods to achieve "zero pollution"

As soon as he came to Yujiawu Village, the first thing Li Liangjun did was to build the road. he used nearly half a year to smooth the road into the village with a width of 4 meters and a length of 3 kilometers, which not only enabled all kinds of machinery and equipment to be pulled into the ravines, but also brought great convenience to the daily travel of nearby villagers.

"my requirement is that the farm does not spray pesticides or chemical fertilizers, and every kind of agricultural product planted should be pure and original 'zero pollution'." Li Liangjun said that to achieve a real "zero pollution" of crops is not as simple as it is said. Apart from the safety and non-pollution of the seedlings of crops, there are strict requirements on the whole planting process and the land planted.

"soil improvement is the first and most important step." Li Liangjun said that at the suggestion of agricultural technicians, he first changed the original cultivated land into sloping land to facilitate drainage and discharge; then dug up the contaminated topsoil and planted it with raw soil that was not contaminated inside; and then spread weeds on the land to cultivate the soil.

After soil improvement, Li Liangjun planted 200 mu of sorghum, 160 mu of wheat and some corn and rice. In order to control diseases and insect pests, he also planted some garlic and traditional Chinese medicine, using the characteristics of these plants to kill pests in the soil.

In order to facilitate management, Li Liangjun eats and lives in the garden. When he saw the weeds growing, he pulled them out with his hands and cut them with a lawnmower. He was really too busy, so he asked the villagers nearby to pull up the weeds together. Over the course of a year, the labor cost of weeding alone has cost more than 20,000 yuan. The villagers nearby laughed at him because it was not worth it. Using herbicides was fast and economical. But Li Liangjun shook his head. If he used herbicide, his hard work would be in vain.

After his hard work, the crops in the plantation grew gratifying, and the chicken, duck house, pig and sheep pen also became lively. Li Liangjun integrated planting and breeding, which really realized the ecological cycle. When it was time for rice and corn to be harvested, he asked the villagers to taste it for free. After tasting it, the villagers feel that the taste is different from that of other rice and corn. Although some villagers grow rice and corn in their own families, they think his rice and corn are more delicious, and they specially buy a lot to eat at home.

Develop rural tourism for diversified development of liquor-making

"Sorghum produced in the plantation is the best raw material for brewing liquor." Li Liangjun told the reporter that he planted a large amount of sorghum in the ecological garden, and every time he harvested the sorghum, he would choose high-quality sorghum with full grains to make liquor.

In order to make wine, spring water is the most important element. According to Li Liangjun, there is an old well next to the winery, which is called "Liangshui Spring" in ancient times. The reason why the spring water of the ancient well is sweet and sweet is that the ecological environment here is excellent. The water of the Great Lantern Mountain converges here through the step-by-step filtration of rocks and faults. The water quality is excellent. Of course, using this spring water to make wine, the taste of the wine is self-evident.

Li Liangjun said that in the first Northeast Sichuan small and medium-sized Liquor Competition held in Nanchong, the liquor he produced stood out among many contestants and won the gold medal. "winning the award is not only an encouragement to me, but also an affirmation of what I have done. I will continue to do diversified business in the future.

The farm is naturally dominated by agricultural production, but Li Liangjun is not satisfied with this, exposure to the green mountains and green waters, he saw the tourism value of the farm. "Yujiawu Village not only has beautiful scenery, but also has a reservoir. I intend to develop tourism projects with characteristics such as sightseeing vacations and outdoor sports in ecological farms, relying on landscape resources." When it comes to the future, Li Liangjun's face is full of confidence.
