Quitting his job in a foreign company in Xi'an, Diao long firmly returned to his rural hometown in Sanyuan three years ago to raise a donkey.

Recently, braving the severe cold, the reporter saw the protagonist Diao long in the "San Mu Guanzhong Donkey Farm" in Wujia Village, Sanyuan County. With a bookish Diao long face and gentle speech, it is difficult for people to associate him with raising donkeys.

Diao long, who was born in 1987, graduated from Xi'an Foreign Affairs University in 2009 and worked as an operations director in a foreign company with a monthly salary of 4000 yuan. By chance, he found that all the donkey meat in a restaurant was transported from Hebei, and he had his own entrepreneurial dream. Through market research, Xi'an market donkey meat consumption demand is very large, but the supply is very scarce.

So, in early 2012, Diao long resigned and returned to his hometown in Sanyuan. By borrowing money and loans from relatives, he quickly built a modern farm with offices, staff dormitories, standardized donkey houses and feed houses. Subsequently, he bought back more than 140 Guanzhong donkeys at one time from Gansu and Qinghai, registered a food factory at the end of 2013, and signed perennial supply contracts with many hotels.

By the end of 2014, Diao long had paid off all his debts. At present, there are more than 600 donkeys in the farm, with an annual slaughter capacity of about 1000. Next, he will adopt the "farm + peasant household" model to drive the villagers to the road of prosperity.
