The mycelium is growing gratifying.

On January 4, the author walked into the planting base of Dictyophora in Huihu Village, Baijie Town, Naxi District, Luzhou City, and saw patches of white agricultural film covered with newly planted bamboo trees everywhere on the glade in the dense bamboo forest.

"the bacteria that were not sown until late September 2015 have emitted 98% of their hyphae, which is very good." After opening the film and checking it, the owner said, "We have adopted the method of digging out nests and planting in the bamboo forest." In June 2015, under the guidance of technicians from the Forestry Bureau of Naxi District, he transferred 150 mu of bamboo forest to plant Dictyophora in the village, and in late September, he covered the nest with rice chaff, then sprinkled it with Dictyophora fungus in proportion, and then covered it with soil and plastic film.

Baijie Town is the core area of ten thousand mu bamboo base in Naxi District, which provides a broad space for interplanting bamboo shoot under the forest. Before planting bamboo shoot, bamboo and bamboo shoots were the main income of the villagers here. After interplanting bamboo shoot under the bamboo forest, bamboo is no longer the main source of income for bamboo farmers, and bamboo shoot will become another "treasure" for villagers to increase their income after winter bamboo shoots.

"planting Dictyophora under the forest saves not only land, but also costs and increases farmers' income." Chen Yongfu, an expert from the Forestry Bureau of Naxi District, told me that this year, Naxi District began to interplant Dictyophora on a large scale under the bamboo forest, which will effectively solve the "fungus field contradiction" in the production of edible fungi. He said: at present, artificial cultivation of Dictyophora is mainly planted in field sheds, and it is necessary to build shade sheds, and Dictyophora cannot be planted continuously, and generally planted fields have to rotate other crops for more than three years before they can be used as cultivation sites for Dictyophora, resulting in a waste of cultivated land resources to a certain extent. Interplanting Dictyophora under the bamboo forest not only saves the cultivated land resources and the labor of building the shade shed, but also increases the efficiency obviously. At the same time, the return of the cultivated waste bacterial bran to the woodland can increase the organic matter of the woodland, improve the soil structure, realize the mutual benefit of forest bacteria and recycle resources.

In 2015, Xianligui transferred 150 mu of bamboo forest to interplant Dictyophora. He said: according to the technology of interplanting Dictyophora under bamboo forest that has been successfully explored in other places, one mu of woodland can harvest 350kg of fresh Dictyophora and 70kg of dried Dictyophora. According to the calculation of 400 yuan per kilogram of dried Dictyophora, the income per mu can be 28000 yuan. Bamboo farmers can make a net profit of about 15000 yuan.

"although Dictyophora has high economic value, the cost of growing Dictyophora is also very high. The cost of nearly 10,000 yuan per mu of land may deter some bamboo farmers." Xian Ligui said that based on this situation, he will adopt the "company (cooperative) + peasant household" model to develop bamboo shoot planting. "because Dictyophora has a habit of planting in the first year, it can no longer be planted in the second year, so in the next step, when driving villagers to plant, I will combine the cultivation of chicken under the forest with the cultivation of traditional Chinese medicine, so as to give full play to the maximum economic benefits of bamboo forests. let more forest farmers embark on the new way of increasing their income by bamboo as soon as possible."
