Liu Wenbin is physically disabled and wants to start a business with bees, and he also wants to lead special groups to the road of breeding and becoming rich.

A middle-aged man in his forties, who was disabled for life due to a leg disease since childhood, walked with armpit crutches. But he walked with great strides on the road of life. Now, he has another entrepreneurial dream: to be a good beekeeper, he should not only get rich, but also lead the disabled people of the whole village, the whole town and the whole district to the road of breeding and getting rich.

The road of life does not say defeat, start a sweet career

Walking into Liu Wenbin's home in Tongmu Village, Lianhua Town, Yuelu District, the reporter saw that he was busy next to the beehive. Six beehives were neatly placed on the ground. He opened them carefully one by one to see if there were any diseases and insects and whether the honey in the hive was saturated. Sweaty, his face was brimming with happiness.

Liu Wenbin came from a poor family and was not well treated because of rheumatoid disease at the age of 6, which led to lifelong disability. But Liu Wenbin is full of combat effectiveness: relying on a small carving knife to achieve marriage and children, buy a home and settle down, he also wants to work hard to achieve self-worth through farming and entrepreneurship. In the activity of "uniting thousands of villages and helping thousands of families" carried out by the Changsha disabled Persons' Federation in early 2014, after layers of screening, he was finally identified as the object of help.

"Bees should be kept very carefully. If you are not familiar with their temper, you will be stung." Liu Wenbin said that he picked up these "treasures" carefully and showed them to reporters. He said that not long after beekeeping, the little guys had a big problem, with a bloated belly, a slow crawl and a constant tremor. After receiving the news, the Municipal disabled Persons' Federation immediately sent someone to check it out, and only then did they know that it was paralysis. The technical instructor said: "choose antiviral Chinese herbal medicine or medicine treatment, combined with rhubarb soda tablets to promote the excretion of bees." Sure enough, it wasn't long before the little guys came back to life.

Since then, Liu Wenbin has paid more attention to the care of bees, regularly checking for pathological changes every day, and often shaking bamboo sticks around the hive to help them drive away their natural enemies. He not only remembered the breeding essentials taught by the technical instructor of the Municipal disabled Persons' Federation, but also learned a lot of knowledge of beekeeping independently. To make his dream come true, he had too many feelings: "Don't look at just a few simple boxes, it takes a lot of thought. I'm afraid of getting caught in the rain and the heat on a sunny day, which is more attentive than taking care of my own children."

"unite thousands of villages and help ten thousand households", be the leader of getting rich

After nearly half a year of careful care and slowly summing up experiences and lessons, Liu Wenbin's road to bee farming is gradually on the right track. "the honey produced at home is not worried about the market at all. The quality of pure natural honey is very good. This year's sweet-scented osmanthus honey has been ordered by many people, and it can be sold for about 70 yuan per jin of honey." Liu Wenbin said proudly. The air is filled with the fragrance of honey, and Liu Wenbin has a contented smile on his face. Perhaps what he sees in his eyes is not only bees, but also a vision for a future life as happy as honey.

"people with disabilities, especially those who have a certain ability to work, should get rid of the idea of 'waiting for others'." Liu Wenbin said, "with the help of the Municipal disabled Persons' Federation, the living standard of my family has been improved. I hope more disabled people can join us and realize their self-worth through entrepreneurship." Liu Wenbin plans to build a "courtyard-style economic cooperative" in Lianhua Town to drive the disabled who are interested in aquaculture in the whole village, the whole town and even the whole region to get rich together.
