Tibetan Xiang pig is native to the snowy plateau, but it is also adapted to the mountains and hills. According to Yuan Huaihua, Tibetan Xiang pigs began to give birth for more than a year, with a high reproduction rate, giving birth to two litters a year, seven or eight at a time. Tibetan Xiang pig is suitable for stocking, released during the day, eat wild vegetables, grass roots, a large amount of exercise, strong viability, back to the fence every day to feed some corn, sweet potatoes. The Tibetan Xiang pig is smaller and has a longer growth cycle. After a year of feeding, the adult pig can weigh 40 kg.
At present, Tibetan fragrant pork is very popular, with a price of about 100 yuan per kilogram. Most of the Tibetan Xiang pigs raised by Yuan Huaihua are exported, with more than 400 pigs a year and an annual income of more than 400,000 yuan. "look at that, you can sell as many Tibetan pigs as you can." Yuan Huaihua also said that he will teach Tibetan Xiang pig breeding and management technology to the surrounding people, provide breeding pigs at low prices, drive villagers to shake off poverty and become rich, and form a regional industrial belt.
