Tailai County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province is a national poverty county. Because of its remote location, few sales channels, low added value of products and other reasons, local farmers guard the fertile black land, but the grain grown can not sell at a good price. In early 2015, the Tailai county government organized a group of farmers from the county to visit the agricultural products e-commerce base. This trip inspired Hu Yanping, a villager in Tazi Town, Tailai County, who has been engaged in grain purchase and sale for more than 20 years: it turns out that agricultural products can still be sold in this way! After some preparation, vegetarian Cat, the first own-brand flagship store for agricultural products in Tazi Town, run by Hu Yanping, was launched in Tmall in May 2015, focusing on local rice and miscellaneous grains. "at the beginning, because of the lack of brand awareness and the high cost of promotion, I lost 600000 in the first four months." Hu Yanping said. However, after the initial difficulties, the advantages of the Internet gradually emerged-as of the beginning of this year, the agricultural products e-commerce company, which is rooted in the small town of Heilongjiang, had received about 100000 orders and sales of 4 million yuan in less than a year. "our store ranked 15th when it was the highest in Tmall's industry." Hu Yanping said proudly. Because of the good sales prospects, Hu Yanping and the big farmers in the town began to order agriculture: farmers planted grain according to the plan of the e-commerce company, which promised to buy it all at a higher price than the market. More than 40 villagers in the village become employees of the e-commerce company, and some young people who "can type and play Wechat" sit into the company's offices and become sales and customer service specialists. Hu Yanping's "vegetarian cat" is just one of the agricultural brands that have come out of the "northern wilderness" through e-commerce. At the beginning of 2015, Qiqihar put forward the development idea of green organic food industry, including agricultural Internet of things, brand leading enterprises, product quality testing system, modern storage facilities, electronic marketing platform and so on. On January 11, 2016, the "Northeast Black soil" agricultural products trading platform was launched in Qiqihar. As a traditional agricultural city, Qiqihar is trying to promote more "Northern Wild" agricultural products to the whole country through the Internet.
