Wei Xunjie and his wife are the second-generation children of the farm. They were originally employees of the Bayi General Machinery Factory. After the system reform of the machinery factory, due to poor efficiency, Wei Xunjie successively developed in many places and experienced hardships. Later, with the support of the leaders present, after 15 years of hard work and hard work, he successively set up starch factories, mountain pig farms and cattle farms, and took the lead in the establishment of Bayi General Farm Hong Shuishui Dairy Cow and Beef cattle breeding Professional Cooperative and Dongshan Xiang Pig breeding Co-operative.

In 2000, Wei Xunjie set up a beef cattle and mountain pig farm in a remote hill in Dongshan community of Bayi General Farm. The whole breeding industry was hit hard by SARS in 2002. he could not sell any of his mountain pigs and cattle, so he had to close the farm temporarily, but he was not discouraged. Since then, he began to visit professional farmers in Guangdong and Guangxi, as well as Chengmai, Lingshui, Ledong, Baisha and other places in Hainan.

In 2007, the couple became busier. They work in the farm during the day and rush back to the sugar factory to study with their children at night, commuting more than 30 kilometers a day. In order to be in a hurry, once when she went up to the mountain to cut grass, his wife Lu Xiaoying accidentally cut her foot and lost a lot of blood. She just grabbed a handful of grass and tied up the wound. A wife who has always been strong has to do what she can even if she is lame. The most worrying thing for a couple is that the cow is sick. Whenever the cow is sick, they always feel powerless. In 2009, his son Wei Caiyu just graduated from high school, and the couple tried to persuade their son to apply for Guangxi Yellow cattle Research Institute to learn animal husbandry disease prevention and treatment, artificial breeding and embryo transfer. The son lived up to his parents' expectations. after returning from school, he solved the problem of purebred cultivation of the third generation buffalo in the farm, as well as the cultivation of the second and third generation of cattle, and realized the self-breeding of the farm. Later, the farm was established as the breeding cattle production base of Hainan Province and the embryo research project of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology. At present, led by their family, the cattle-raising cooperative of "company + peasant household" with households as a unit has begun to take shape.

With the participation of the son, the couple became more confident. In December 2012, with the encouragement of Bayi General Farm, they took advantage of the east wind of the second venture of the farm, registered and established the "Hong Kuishui Cow and Beef cattle breeding Professional Cooperative" in Dongshan Community, invested 17.8 million yuan, and constantly expanded the breeding scale. at present, the farm covers an area of 170mu, and there are 346 cattle. At the same time, actively create ecological breeding, the development of circular economy, the use of biogas digester for harmless treatment of cow dung, the use of biogas power generation, to turn waste into treasure, energy saving and environmental protection, resulting in better economic, social and ecological benefits.

Wei Xunjie and his family got rich by raising cattle scientifically, but instead of enjoying the fruits of getting rich alone, they enthusiastically helped the surrounding workers to raise cattle and become rich. At present, their scientific research, breeding and training base is under construction, which can train more than 500 people a year. The cooperative will popularize in the form of "company + peasant household", expand group breeding, and plan to raise 5000 Japanese cattle and 3000 water dairy cows. The output value will reach 300 million yuan. At the same time, encourage and guide all the workers to join the cooperatives. they are not only responsible for giving the cowboys they have bred to the staff and workers, but also responsible for technical guidance and recycling and sale. for villagers who encounter financial difficulties, they raise funds for them. if they are lack of technology, they will send technology to them and let the workers and workers embark on the road of raising cattle and getting rich.
