Four years ago, Qin Fenglan, who was engaged in the cosmetics industry, must not have thought that she would become an expert in raising Loach and have a relatively large-scale breeding base in Xiangxian Town.

Aim at the gap to raise Loach

Recently, the reporter set out from Xiangxian Town, half an hour's drive to Gongxunzhuang, Dashan Village. At the turn of the road at the foot of the mountain beside the village, there is a fish pond of more than 6 mu, the surface of the water is sparkling, and the Loach looking for food turns out bursts of spray from time to time. That is Qin Fenglan's breeding base of Loach.

"A few years ago, I started raising Loach, all of which were raised in circulation." Qin Fenglan said happily, "this year, I have at least 10,000 jin of Loach for sale, at the wholesale price of 25 yuan per jin, is expected to have more than 200,000 yuan of income."

Qin Fenglan, who is in her 30s this year, gives people the impression of being confident, optimistic and capable.

A few years ago, she was engaged in the cosmetics business in Guangdong and earned a considerable income. In 2012, when the business was going well, she chose to retire bravely and decided to return to her hometown to try to raise Loach and start another business of her own.

"I am a farmer, and when I leave the land, I feel bored and flustered." Qin Fenglan said humorously.

Thought determines the way out, head determines the pocket. First of all, Qin Fenglan looked up the relevant culture information on the Internet, and then learned the high-density ecological culture technology of Loach through market investigation and research, and basically mastered the skills of breeding Loach.

In early 2012, Qin Fenglan invested more than 40,000 yuan to dig more than 6 mu of idle lowland at home and began to cultivate Loach.

At the beginning of breeding, due to the lack of practical experience and poor technology, the Loach farmed by Qin Fenglan either died or escaped, or was eaten by birds and snakes. If you eat a sting, you will gain wisdom. Qin Fenglan was not discouraged, but increased investment in learning lessons. 30-40 cm away from the shore around the pond, all surrounded by nylon nets, reinstalled in the middle of the pond pumping oxygen equipment, not only to prevent natural enemies, but also can adjust water temperature and water quality.

Qin Fenglan introduction, high-density ecological breeding Loach, the most important thing is to grasp the water temperature and pH value, especially the water temperature to be moderate. If the water used for culture is not up to standard and the formula of feed is not suitable, it will lead to the occurrence of rotten mouth, white head, white tail and even death of Loach.

"raising Loach is a technical job, not only to prevent escape, birds and snakes, but also to carefully observe the water quality and regularly disinfect and increase oxygen." Qin Fenglan said.

Expenditure on Seedling Festival of self-incubating Loach

From the Misgurnus anguillicaudatus breeding base less than 200 meters, is Qin Fenglan 16 mu greenhouse incubation Loach seedling base. Because she uses the cross between local Loach and Taiwan Loach, the hatched Loach seedlings are active and do not drill mud, have strong disease resistance, good quality, and high survival rate, so more and more farmers or bosses come to buy on their own initiative.

Qin Fenglan said that in order to obtain the maximum benefit of raising Loach, we must take the road of self-cultivation in order to achieve the goal of reducing expenditure and increasing income, and reduce the spread of germs.

Qin Fenglan's greenhouse incubation Loach seedling base can produce 60 million Loach seedlings a year, most of which are raised according to orders, while a small part is left for their own breeding, which not only drives more people to cultivate Loach, but also increases their income.

Lead the masses to get rich

Prior to this, Gongxun Village also had several farmers who had raised Loach, but due to the failure of technology and site construction, they all ended in failure.

Qin Fenglan said that the Loach is picky about the environment, and the feeding technology is very strict, so the mastery of the technology is very critical.

Last year, Qin Fenglan set up a professional cooperative for women's entrepreneurship in Gongxunzhuang and held several training courses on breeding Loach. 23 households in the village are interested in joining the cooperative. Qin Fenglan said that for people who need breeding, as long as they come to seek advice, she will give serious guidance in management, epidemic prevention, and other aspects. after others have mastered the breeding technology, she is also responsible for helping farmers solve the marketing problem. and provide technical consulting services free of charge anytime and anywhere during the breeding period.

"one person is not rich when he is rich. Only by driving the surrounding villagers to engage in farming can the industry become bigger and stronger." After success, Qin Fenglan has a bigger dream. He wants to provide Loach seedlings and technical assistance free of charge to drive the surrounding villagers to be the conditional poor households in the county to cultivate Loach together and "raise" a way to get rich.
