Through investigation and consultation, he divided half an acre from his land and made a bold attempt, but he made a bad start for the first time. He said, "I didn't master the technology in all aspects, so I planted it in the field without emergence. The next year I learned about it and mastered the technique of raising seedlings. When I came back, I raised half a mu in my own home. That year, the seedlings came out quite well. I remember very clearly that I bought 176,000 at that time."

After making money, Cao Zongmeng burst into blossom and began to drive the villagers to develop the seedling industry. However, technical support and marketing guarantee are still two major problems in the development of seedlings. Since 2014, with the help and coordination of the Gansu Provincial Procuratorate, the Shuanglian unit, both problems have been solved. Cao Zongmeng said: "the provincial procuratorate coordinates for us experts from the Bailongjiang Forestry Institute to come to us and give us technical guidance. We usually encounter any diseases and insect pests, take photos or video and send them to them. Then they will give us analysis and guidance. Above the market, the provincial procuratorates also actively coordinate the areas of Jiuquan, Jiayuguan, Zhangye and Wuwei to ensure their sales. Therefore, there are basically no difficulties in the development of seedlings in our village. "

In recent years, the whole car of Miaozi in the field has been pulled out, and Cao Zongmeng's home has suddenly changed. "now the house has been built, the car has been driven, the economy is well-off, and great changes have taken place in life."

Last year, Lingguan Village innovated to set up a "well-off mutual aid group". Cao Zongmeng and large families took the lead in setting up groups to enable poor families to have their own mutual aid industries in a short period of time. Cao Zongmeng said that this model is to "complement each other's advantages and jointly create a win-win situation." "I have brought four households. We poor households have land and labor. I produce seedlings, and poor households unearthed labor. If we plant this seedling into their land, the benefit is 50-50 dividend, which means that half of the seedlings I planted are his."
