He Junhua held the lamb in his arms and fell in love with mother and son.

Small tail Han sheep

He Junhua, a villager of Baimiao Village, Wencheng Town, Langzhong City, was repeatedly frustrated when he was abducted and planted watermelons. In 2011, refusing to admit defeat, she returned to her hometown to start a business, set up Junhua livestock farm, and embarked on the road to becoming rich by raising small-tailed Han sheep. She also unexpectedly reaped love.

As the first farmer in Sichuan to successfully breed small-tailed Han sheep, after more than five years of construction, her farm has now built a comprehensive breeding cooperative with an annual output value of nearly 10 million yuan, collecting breeding sheep, raising mutton sheep and mutton soup pot. Radiation has led to the joint "sheep" wealth of nearly a thousand farmers in 10 surrounding counties and 110 townships.

On February 19, a reporter from Huaxi City Reader walked into he Junhua's small tail Han sheep farm to visit the wealth story behind her. Raising sheep for the first time: because he was "seduced" to raise sheep. "the mountain is not turning, the water is turning, the water is not turning, the cloud is turning …..." At noon on February 19, there was sweet music on the radio in he Junhua's farm. The Junhua farm, which covers an area of more than 1000 square meters, is kept in different pens according to the size of the small-tailed Han sheep. The largest one is close to a cow, and the smaller one is also bigger than the local goat.

Why would you play music to the sheep? "the lamb that has just passed the milk will keep barking because it wants to breast-feed, and when the lamb cries, the big sheep will follow." He Junhua said that playing music can reduce the restlessness of small-tailed Han sheep and increase their food intake.

"it was also discovered by accident." He Junhua said that once when she was checking the growth of the lamb in the enclosure, she suddenly made a phone call. When the phone rang, the originally restless lamb suddenly quieted down. From then on, the farm began to play music. "it's mainly light music, and you can't play something loud and exciting, which will cause the sheep to get restless." At the same time, the sheep are afraid of the dark, and the farm will turn on the electric lights all night.

As he said that, he Junhua picked up a small-tailed Han sheep as if he were holding a child, and introduced her farm to everyone.

When he Junhua was 16 years old, he was "lured" to Baoding, Hebei Province by the villagers of the same village. "the man who kidnapped me said that working outside could earn 300 yuan a month, while the workers who worked in the unit at that time only earned 45 yuan a month." He Junhua said that because the family is too poor, brothers and sisters have to rely on their parents to support. In order to share the burden for their parents, she went out to work with her fellow villagers under the temptation of high wages.

But after arriving in Baoding, the fellow-townsman did not take he Junhua to work. In the soft and hard way of his fellow villagers, he Junhua was forced to marry a local villager. Because her husband's family raised many kinds of sheep, he Junhua began herding sheep, and it was here that she first came into contact with small-tailed Han sheep.

A few years later, my husband's family relaxed their care of he Junhua. On a market day, he Junhua fled back to his hometown with his newborn daughter.

Starting a business for the first time: growing watermelons has lost a lot of money

When he Junhua returned to his hometown, he was thinking about starting a small business while growing crops.

"at that time, I didn't have the skills, so I learned to grind tofu from others." Ho Junhua said that after returning from her studies, she started a tofu business in Langzhong, and for more than two years, she did not have much surplus except expenses. As her daughter grew up day by day, he Junhua was so overwhelmed by the pressure of life that he Junhua was out of breath, and she thought about changing things to do.

In 2003, he Junhua contracted dozens of mu of land to grow watermelons in Xishan Township, Wencheng Town. But fate once again played a joke on her. The sudden torrential rain made her suffer heavy losses and nearly went bankrupt.

Dozens of mu of melon land that year was on the verge of a good harvest. A sudden torrential rain washed away he Junhua's watermelon field. The heavy rain that lasted nearly a week not only extinguished the orders of watermelon buyers, but also cost he Junhua nearly 100,000 yuan of his belongings. The actual experience did not overwhelm he Junhua, who did not admit defeat. He Junhua packed his bags and went to work in Shenzhen.

In 2007, house prices in Shenzhen plummeted. With only 50,000 yuan, he Junhua made a down payment of more than 80 square meters of housing in Longgang, Shenzhen. In 2009, when house prices in Shenzhen rebounded, he Junhua sold his house and made a net profit of more than 800,000 yuan. With this money, he Junhua bought two more houses in Shenzhen and earned some money one after another.

In 2010, when he Junhua saw that the house price market was unstable, he returned from Shenzhen to his hometown of Huan Chinese town.

Start a business again: choose to raise small-tailed Han sheep

He Junhua, who returned to his hometown again, did not choose to live an easy life. He Junhua is thinking about starting a business again, what project to do in the end, let her struggle very much.

Accidentally watching TV, she found that the price of small-tailed Han sheep is high and the market prospect is good. "the first time I went back to Taiwan, I thought about raising sheep, but at that time, all the land in my hometown was growing crops, and there was no grass or straw to raise sheep." He Junhua said that he had come into contact with small-tailed Han sheep in Baoding. He knew that small-tailed Han sheep had a short growth cycle, a high birth rate, and good economic benefits. He also learned some sheep-raising techniques, so he made up his mind to raise small-tailed Han sheep.

In August 2011, he Junhua built a sheep pen on the land on his doorstep. In November, she went to Jiaxiang County, Jining, Shandong Province to buy breeder sheep. "at that time, we contacted each other on the Internet, but when we met, we found out that they were sheep traffickers." He Junhua said that through conversations with people around her, she learned that small-tailed Han sheep were raised in Liangshan County of Jining on a larger scale. "Sheep traffickers followed at that time, meaning that they could not leave without selling breeder sheep. I took advantage of the fact that many people ran away while I was buying clothes. I didn't even take my bag or luggage."

He Junhua, who ran out, stopped a taxi and went straight to Liangshan County. After asking the locals, he Junhua went to Chen Fengli, a large local farmer of small-tailed Han sheep, to buy breeder sheep. "I had planned to buy 500 small-tailed Han sheep and go back to my hometown to raise them." He Junhua said, but Chen Fengli disagreed and suggested that she raise a small number of small-tailed Han sheep for the first time. In the end, he Junhua took Chen Fengli's advice and bought 27 Bordeaux goats and 3 small-tailed Han sheep.

Windfall: because sheep are raised to harvest love

How to transport 30 breeder sheep unharmed on the way back to Langzhong from Liangshan has become a matter of anxiety for he Junhua. Chen Fengli prepared feed and medicine in advance for situations that may arise in the course of transportation, and told Ho Junhua how to identify and deal with these situations. After nearly 30 hours' journey of 1500 kilometers, he Junhua stayed with 30 breeder sheep to accompany them to get home safely.

As soon as the originally lively and lovely breeder sheep arrived in Baimiao Village, they had the symptoms of cold, tears and diarrhea. He Junhua was so worried that she quickly dialed Chen Fengli's number. Chen Fengli taught Ho Junhua how to deal with first aid in detail on the phone. However, because he Junhua was not sure about the drug dose, the sick breeder sheep became more serious, and a seriously ill Bordeaux goat died.

He Junhua called Chen Fengli again. Unexpectedly, a few days later, a familiar figure appeared in he Junhua's farm, and Chen Fengli rushed to Luzhong from Liangshan. In Chen Fengli's meticulous care, the sick breeder sheep regained their former appearance. It was during this period that he Junhua found that Chen Fengli was a person worthy of trust, and the relationship between the two was heating up day by day.
