"our yam is pollution-free and different from other people's. You'll see if you taste it. The price can't be cheap." In Henan in the first month, the temperature is still very low, but at the intersection of Liberty Road and Zhongtong Street in Xinxiang City, the "saloon car" of Pan Chunting, a yam girl in Lankao, Henan Province, is full of citizens buying yams.

"this time of year is also our busiest time!" Although the Spring Festival has passed, Pan Chunting can not stop when she is busy. "someone just ordered dozens of cases yesterday, and later I have to pick up the goods in the freezer." Pan Chunting said that some companies came from other places to buy hundreds of cases of yams to give their employees benefits at the end of the year.

"I am very lucky that I have always had the help of kind-hearted people along the way." Pan Chunting said.

According to Pan Chunting, she dropped out of school after graduating from junior high school. at the age of 19, a person came to Guangzhou with a schoolbag and could only work in a factory with a monthly salary of more than 300 yuan. Later, she worked as a salesman in a shopping mall and often worked overtime.

In 2008, my father, who had been setting up a stall, saw a business opportunity and grew his own yam to sell. "the seeds were very expensive, and my father borrowed tens of thousands of them. under careful management, the yam grew very well, so he transported the yam to the city." As more and more repeat customers, Pan Chunting's father began to expand the planting area.

The sensible Pan Chunting sent home all the money she had saved from working. A few years later, her yam planting area had grown to 80 mu. "my family is too busy, but I don't want to go home and become a farmer."

You know, Pan Chunting has been working in Guangzhou for 10 years before returning to Lankao County, Henan Province in 2014. she was one of the company's gold medal sales, Cantonese communication is not a problem, and her annual salary is more than six figures.

"it hurts when I think of my parents selling yams and sleeping on the street beside the stalls at night. I have never had a reunion dinner during the Spring Festival." Her father died of illness in 2014, and as the eldest daughter, she made up her mind to return to Lankao, Henan with her 10-year savings.

In just over a year, Pan Chunting contracted another 100 mu of land on the basis of her father's 80 mu of yam land, designed the trademark pattern of "Pangen Ji Iron Bar Yam" named after her father, and designed a business card printed with the QR code of the micro shop. Because the business is booming, people in the village call her "yam girl".

Later, Pan found an electric car factory and ordered a mobile van with a sleeper in the cab, solar power generation, led color display, air conditioning and insulation, and six doors on the side.

"when you are tired, you can have a rest in the sleeper of the cab, protect yourself from the wind, rain and sun, and you can also move." Ting Ting named the car "Little Apple plus Hummer RV". "the real Hummer is not as likely to turn around as it is." The strong Pan Chunting also taught herself all kinds of agricultural vehicles, 200 agricultural vehicles, three-wheeled agricultural vehicles, cyclone rakes, and so on.

"I drive an electric tricycle back and forth all day, but I don't look like a woman."

Nowadays, the fine lines on Pan Chunting's face are becoming more and more obvious. "when I was in Guangzhou, my skin was white and clean. Although I was tired, I could at least wear clean clothes every day. Now I deal with yam every day. It's all dirt." Pan Chunting joked, "reality is not so easy. Bury yourself in it. Your skin is dry and you are old."

At present, Pan Chunting's small company has more than 60 people. "they are all poor families in the village, doing some simple work to support their families." Pan Chunting said, "when I came back from the big city, I never thought of going back. This is a piece of fertile soil. I want to take root."
