"I have been studying and working in Lanzhou for more than 30 years. I am an out-and-out native of Lanzhou. Beef noodles is an indispensable food every day." Recently, Cao Shan said in an interview with reporters in the Beijing Marketing Department of Beijing Shunyi Gansu Natural Rose Biotechnology Co., Ltd.
Cao Shan was admitted to Lanzhou University in 1988, majoring in computer science. After graduation, he stayed in Lanzhou and worked in computer, fire engineering equipment, air conditioning and other sales work. He is now the chairman of Gansu Natural Rose Biotechnology Co., Ltd., founded in Lanzhou New area, mainly developing high-quality varieties of "Lanzhou bitter Rose" with unique Asian fragrance. Rose essential oil, rose pure oil, rose water, dried rose buds as the main business, auxiliary industry to develop rose hotel, rose real estate, rose food, rose tourism industry.
Rose essential oil is the most expensive essential oil in the world, known as "after essential oil". Cao Shan met Rose by chance 13 years ago. In 2003, during the picking season of "Lanzhou bitter Rose", I passed by the rose-producing area on a business trip and saw roses blooming everywhere. Cao Shan was surprised to find that no one had picked them. After inquiry, the farmers told him that the purchase price of roses was only 50 cents per jin at that time, and the income of one mu of land was not enough to hire people to pick and pay for labor. "at that time, the market price of rose essential oil had exceeded 9000 yuan per jin, indicating that the market prospect of roses is very good after deep processing." Cao Shan said.
"the purchase price of roses is too low, which not only damages the enthusiasm of farmers, but also makes the farmers who grow roses lose their development direction." What he heard and saw made Cao Shan, who is good at capturing business opportunities, restless. He immediately began to consult books such as Compendium of Materia Medica and asked experts to learn about the habits and uses of roses.
"Rose essential oil can regulate female endocrine, nourish uterus, relieve dysmenorrhea and improve menopausal discomfort. It plays a very good role in beauty and skin care, and is the most suitable aromatic essential oil for women's health care. " Cao Shan has a preliminary understanding of the use of roses and rose essential oils. "it took me more than three years to investigate the market. At that time, most of the bitter rose producing areas were simple workshop-style processing. " Cao Shan said that at this time, he had a great idea in his mind: if bitter Rose wants to become bigger and stronger, it must take the road of industrial development of "changing flowers into oil", and the key to "turning flowers into oil" is to develop and strengthen leading enterprises.
However, from the computer major to the research and development of rose essential oil series, Cao Shan's theoretical knowledge is blank. "as the scientific research knowledge taught by the teacher was too professional and could not be understood at the moment, we had to copy it all down and take it home to study slowly. I have always kept these handwritten scientific research materials, and they are the wealth that has contributed to my career in this life! " Cao Shan said with gratitude.
"I want to let my painstaking efforts to develop bitter rose products to be understood by more people, used by more people, so that rose farmers can make money." This is Cao Shan's greatest wish.
In 2008, Cao Shan began to dabble in the rose industry, set up his own company, purchased rosebuds in the field, and developed a number of varieties in food, medicine, daily chemical industry and so on. In 2011, with the development and construction of Lanzhou New area, Cao Shan's company built a large scale in the new area, and successfully completed and put into production as planned, with an output value of 100 million yuan in 2015 and a planned output value of more than 200 million yuan this year.
"if enterprises want to develop and grow, they should not only establish a brand on their doorstep, but also promote our real estate brand to the national and even international markets." Cao Shan said confidently. Therefore, at the beginning of this year, the enterprise set up the Beijing Marketing Department and launched an online sales platform. Cao Shan told reporters: "the Beijing market has a radiating and leading role in the country, and we will sell high-quality products to consumers all over the capital to build the brand of Lanzhou bitter Rose products." At the same time, with the help of Beijing marketing platform, docking the international market, the Lanzhou brand is sold overseas. "
With Lanzhou as the core and Beijing as the platform, the rose essential oil products produced by Cao Shan have been sold to Bulgaria, France, Japan and other countries. Because of its unique Asian flavor, Lanzhou bitter rose essential oil is very popular in the international market. "Lanzhou Kushui Rose has the strength to build a world brand, which is also the direction of our efforts!"
