Zhuang Mingbao, 45, is a farmer in Beishendun Village, Jiehu Street, Yinan County, Linyi City. I've been going out to work since I was 18. In 2011, he unfortunately suffered from osteonecrosis of the femoral head while working in Dalian. After treatment, he could barely walk 20 or 30 steps on crutches at a time. The illness did not break him, but honed his tenacious will.

During the treatment, he began to read books on the production of edible fungi. In May 2014, with the help and guidance of village cadres and experts from the county agricultural bureau, he rented abandoned duck sheds to grow mushrooms. He drove an electric tricycle to deliver the picked fresh mushrooms to residential sales points in time. Now he and his wife plant four greenhouses with an annual net income of more than 40,000 yuan.

Although he is disabled, he is happy to help the disabled. He took the lead in setting up the Mingbao Edible Mushroom planting Cooperative in Yinan County, wrote and printed the Edible Mushroom planting Technology, and gave it to the disabled and people in need who came to study for free. He successively brought up more than 60 members around him to produce edible fungi and embarked on the road to common prosperity.
