Speaking of peasant daughter Wang Yanping, the villagers in Guoxianyuan Village, Yan Gezhuang Town, Laoting County all said, "this woman is not simple!" Growing grapes and raising minks, the villagers are the guides on the road to prosperity! "

In 1986, 20-year-old Wang Yanping married Guoxian Yuan Village, Yan Gezhuang Town, Laoting County. At that time, the village mainly planted corn, wheat and other field crops, and earned little for a year of hard work. When she saw that her courtyard was very spacious and had an acre of land, she thought that she could use the courtyard to plant some fruit trees with high efficiency, such as peach trees, Hawthorn trees, and American big cherry trees. American big cherry trees were still saplings bought from other places, but they were all unsuccessful because of poor technology.

Until 1988, Wang Yanping saw that the Jufeng grape had a good taste and sweet market, and she would certainly make money if she could grow Jufeng grape. Although there was not a large area of grape growers in the village at that time, Wang Yanping persuaded her husband to plant 200 grape seedlings boldly in his own yard. This time, Wang Yanping learned experiences and lessons. She not only read a large number of scientific and technological books on grape cultivation management, but also went to other places many times to consult farmers with experience in grape cultivation. She mastered the techniques of grape cultivation, coupled with the careful management of the couple, and in the second year, Wang Yanping's grapes had a bumper harvest and earned 4,000 yuan. This was a large number at that time, and it became the big news in Guoxian Yuan Village.

Wang Yanping became famous from then on, and the villagers were impressed by her and came to pick up the Grape Sutra one after another. Wang Yanping taught her enthusiastically without reservation. Subsequently, Wang Yanping planted grapes on more than 4 mu of contracted land, and the villagers followed suit. Wang Yanping became a free technician for the villagers, carefully guiding everyone to grow grapes. within a few years, more than half of the farmers in the village were engaged in grape production, and their income per mu was nearly 10,000 yuan more than that of planting field crops. under the leadership of Wang Yanping, the villagers embarked on the road of "grape" prosperity.

In the autumn of 2009, Wang Yanping saw that the benefit of raising rare fur animals in other villages in the county was better than growing grapes. she seriously conducted market research and, after careful consideration, took the lead in raising 50 minks in the courtyard of her home. Became the first mink farmer in the village. Under the careful guidance of Wang Yanping, Liu Honghai, a villager in this village, also raised minks this year. At that time, Liu Honghai's family earned more than 30,000 yuan from mink farming, which suddenly changed from a poor household in the village to a wealthy one. Since then, Wang Yanping has led the villagers to embark on the road of characteristic breeding, opening another door for farmers in this village to get rich.

Because of her high prestige in the village, Wang Yanping was elected by the villagers as director of the Village Women's Congress and family planning specialist in 2012. Since taking office, she has devoted herself to the work of women's federations and family planning. In order to strengthen the environmental examination of pregnancy in this village, despite the fact that her children are approaching the college entrance examination, she has been working at the home of married women of childbearing age in this village from morning to night for more than 10 days in a row, thus making great progress in family planning work in the village.

After the cultural position was established in the village, Wang Yanping became the organizational leader of the cultural position in the village. she led the villagers to sing, dance, run classes, publicize the knowledge of family planning and enrich the villagers' cultural life.

Last year, she led the sisters in the village to participate in the county "Boxin Cup" square dance competition and organized the Mid-Autumn Festival square dance performance of "meeting friends with dancers". The villagers all said: "Yanping not only leads everyone to become rich in material life, but also leads everyone's spiritual life to become rich!"
