Ecological three-dimensional cultivation makes Banyuan Village of Zhenghe County find a new way to get rich

On March 27, Tiankai Yunkuo, several villagers in Banyuan Village, Zhenqian Town, Zhenhe County were preparing for ploughing. After three years of care, the villagers used alpine paddy fields to engage in three-dimensional farming, and the original scene of barren land has disappeared.
We can't turn our hometown into a barren countryside.
Banyuan Village is a poor village in high mountain areas, 13 villagers' settlements are scattered, the natural village is far away from the administrative village, and the traffic is extremely inconvenient. Three years ago, due to the lack of sources of income, most of the people in the village chose to go out to work, leaving only the old, the weak, the sick and the disabled, and the fields were seriously abandoned.
"I can't watch my hometown turn into a barren countryside." Ye Changrui, director of Banyuan Village, told reporters that he used to do business abroad and had industries in Wuyishan and Shanghai, but he felt distressed every time he returned to his hometown to see the desolate scene of the village. In September 2012, when he was working hard in the city, he was elected village director by a high vote of the villagers. Because of his concern for the development of his hometown, he gave up the prosperity of the city and resolutely returned to his hometown to shoulder the heavy burden. At that time, the village wealth of Banyuan Village was basically zero, and there was no unit linked to help.
"Land as shares, villagers as shareholders, in the form of companies to build three-dimensional aquaculture agriculture." After careful consideration, Ye Changrui and the village cadres determined the path of development. At the beginning of 2013, the village explored a new mode of land transfer, took the lead in the operation of the village land in the form of a company, and established the Fujian Xiadu Ecological Park, with an investment of 2 million yuan and 51% of the village wealth holdings. Villagers own paddy fields, tea mountains, idle land as shares, accounting for 49% of the shares. At the same time, the barren land in the homes of migrant villagers will be transferred to the village committee at an annual rent of 300 yuan per mu. As soon as the new model was launched, the village committee signed more than 50 agreements with the villagers, and the abandoned fields were reused.
Three-dimensional planting and cultivation to turn mountain ridge fields into treasures
The paddy fields in the village used to grow ordinary rice, with an annual yield of about 500 kilograms per mu, with a price of about 2.6 yuan per kilogram, which is far from changing the current situation in Banyuan village. Ye Changrui saw that urban residents had a great demand for green ecological agricultural products, so he came up with the idea of ecological cultivation.
In March 2013, Ye Changrui introduced the technology of "raising fish in rice fields" and released 50,000 grass carp and carp fry in the fields. Originally thought that the pests and weeds in the field happen to be the delicacies of the fish, and the fish can turn the soil, and its excrement to create good conditions for the growth of rice, it must be a good thing to kill two birds with one stone. However, "the ideal is plump, but the reality is bony." due to the lack of expertise, the density of fish fry in different fields varies, affecting the growth of rice, and the growth of rice does not achieve the desired results. In addition, some of the fish fry were eaten by greedy egrets and washed away by the flood. one after another incidents discouraged the enthusiasm of some villagers.
Ye Changrui did not give up. He made a special trip to consult experts and learn professional knowledge. On the basis of releasing fish fry, he also released more than 8000 soft-shelled turtle fry, black Loach, field snail, and eel into the paddy field. Through continuous exploration, Ye Changrui and the villagers have accumulated rich experience in planting and breeding.
Same rice field, different output.
"We plant red rice in rice fields. Although the yield is less than ordinary rice, the price is higher, and the original ecological products are also exported to various cities." Ye Changrui made a rough calculation: although the annual output of original red rice is only 250 kilograms per mu, it can be sold for 12 yuan per kilogram. In addition, black Loach, soft-shelled turtle, rice flower fish, field snail and eel can be harvested every year, with an annual output value of more than 4000 yuan per mu.
The benefits of three-dimensional farming appear, attracting a large number of villagers to return to their hometown. Ye Yanliang returned to Banyuan Village at the end of last year to work in the Xiadu Ecological Park. He told the reporter that when he was working outside, he got up early and got dark every day, with a maximum of 20,000 to 30,000 yuan a year. after returning to the village, he earned at least 4000 yuan a month, reducing the burden of life and taking care of his aging parents at the same time.
"I stayed in Banyuan Village all my life, and last year was the year I made the most money." Ye Qitian, a villager, said excitedly that he is 65 years old and has been growing fields in Banyuan Village for a lifetime. In the past, the net income of each mu of land was up to 800 yuan. Since the village started three-dimensional farming, all-natural red rice has been produced in the fields and pollution-free soft-shelled turtles have been raised in the water. These high-quality agricultural products have greatly increased the income per mu of land, and their annual income has also nearly quadrupled.
Due to the good ecological recovery, the previously unknown small fish in the village stream have returned, and wild tadpoles, stone scales and other animals have also reappeared in the forest. "next year, this will be a 'Peach Blossom Garden'!" Ye Changrui said that not long ago, more than 1800 peach trees were planted along the village road. He hopes that three-dimensional farming will bring considerable economic benefits as well as ecological benefits, which will lay the foundation for the establishment of an eco-agricultural tourism village with environmental protection.
In addition, Ye Changrui also organized villagers to cultivate bamboo mushrooms with high environmental requirements in the bamboo forest. In the next stage, he plans to take advantage of the unique climate of Banyuan Village and the green mountains and rivers to develop the economy under the forest, plant precious medicinal materials, and increase the income of the villagers.
