In 2013, Qianhua Company, with the support of the government, invested 8 million yuan to settle in the spark low-heat valley vegetable base, transferred 1300 mu of land, and developed vegetable cultivation. At first, relying on the advantage of low-heat valley to harvest precocious vegetables, with the concept of "early" and "fresh", we actively seize the market.

"at the beginning of our settlement, relying on the geographical advantages of the low-hot valley, we mainly planted tomatoes, beans, eggplant, cucumbers, melons and other fruit vegetables, grabbing 'early' and 'ripe' to sell good prices." Yuan Heng said: vegetables are products that have a market all the year round, and grabbing "early" and "ripe" only has a market advantage in spring, and it is difficult to make a difference in other seasons, which has a negative impact on the development of the company.

In terms of planting mode, Qianhua Company initially directly absorbed nearby villagers as workers, adopting a salary system of 2100 yuan per person per month. The result is: can not stimulate the enthusiasm of workers, let alone improve the workmanship of workers, Excelsior, so that the output and quality of vegetables encountered serious bottlenecks.

" In the two years from 2013 to 2015 alone, the vegetable base of Qianhua Company lost 6 million yuan, which gradually eroded Yuan Heng's confidence, as well as the enthusiasm and patience of workers. It is imminent for the poor to want to change.

Find the right position to "grab" the market in the course of development

Yuan Heng gradually realized that by grabbing "early" and "ripe" fruit vegetables, they could not occupy an advantage in the market for a long time. To this end, he visited some large-scale vegetable farms and vegetable sales markets along the coast many times. through repeated search, he found that low vegetables such as cabbage hearts and seedlings have great market potential.

At the end of 2014, Qianhua decided to update its vegetable varieties, no longer growing tomatoes, beans and other fruit vegetables with longer growth period, and planting low vegetables such as cabbage heart, shepherd's purse and seedlings with shorter growth period. Through the "short and fast" product positioning, gradually open the market.

"there are many varieties of cabbage with harvest time of 45 days, 50 days and 70 days. Shepherd's purse has harvest time 30 days, 40 days, 60 days different varieties, vegetable seedling growth period is shorter. " Yuan Heng said that since updating the varieties, it has ensured that vegetables are sold every day, avoiding the "embarrassment" of having a good market price but no vegetables to sell.

The output has "shot up", the production of more varieties of vegetables, and further opening up the market has become an urgent problem to be solved. In early 2015, Qianhua sent people to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and other regions to inspect and contact, and established cooperative relations with Guangzhou Xiantaijian and Hong Kong Shengfeng. At this point, the company's production of Chinese cabbage, shepherd's purse, vegetable seedlings and other more than 10 varieties of vegetable sales market has been further expanded, the living space is no longer a problem.

Yuan Heng said: to engage in the vegetable industry, like the development of other industries, it cannot be plain sailing, and we need to constantly move forward in the course of exploration. The dynamics of the market are rapidly changing, and sticking to conventions will only make the path narrower and narrower.

After the development, the innovative model brings people from the rich village.

Yuan Heng found that in order to further improve the output and quality of vegetables, the monthly salary system is very difficult to stimulate the enthusiasm of workers, so it is imperative to innovate the operation mode of planting.

"Last spring, after repeated investigation and analysis, the company decided to adopt the planting operation mode of 'anti-rent and reverse package'." Yuan Heng told the reporter that the so-called anti-lease is to transfer the land from the villagers to complete the transformation of the facilities, and then contract the land to the villagers to grow vegetables. In the actual production, the company provides all the costs of fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, machinery, etc., and organizes technical training, and the villagers only offer labor to plant. When harvested, the vegetables planted are charged at the price of 60 cents per jin.

The result is that workers are given more room for production choice, and the key to output and quality is grasped. It not only inspires workers' passion for planting, but also improves the workmanship of workers.

"my family contracted more than 10 mu of land in Qianhua company to grow vegetables. When the harvest was busy, I had to work overtime to collect vegetables every night." Qinxiang Mei, who is harvesting cabbage hearts in the field, says that there are many vegetables these days. She turns the ground and sows seeds in the morning, and she cuts vegetables in the afternoon. She is so busy that she can only ask her family to help cut vegetables with her children behind her back. "however, if you work in your hometown and take care of the elderly and children, you can earn nearly 10,000 yuan a month, no matter how hard it is."

If there is a rush, it will be attractive! At present, there are nearly 100 villagers growing vegetables on the contracted land of the company, and everyone is planning a good day for their own family.

"Poor villagers who enter the company to grow vegetables, those who contract vegetable plots with an area of 10 mu, have a monthly income of nearly 10,000 yuan, which is not to get rid of poverty, but to become rich." Yuan Heng said: there are still 180 poor households in the completed village of Spark Township; the company developed step by step with the support of the government, and in return for the locality, while striving for its own profits, the company has the responsibility of leading the people on one side to shake off poverty and become rich. This year, the company will attract 50 poor villagers into the base and strive to absorb all the poor villagers in the completed village within three years to help them get rid of poverty and become rich.
