Last Updated: 2024/09/19, Zhejiang businessmen have invested nearly one million yuan to grow fruits in Leshan.

In Guanmiao Township and Jianfeng Township, Shizhong District, Leshan City, there are many watermelon growers, and Ren Lin'an, a native of Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, is also one of them. Since 2014, he has planted more than a dozen kinds of fruits, such as watermelons, cherries, oranges, bayberries and strawberries. On March 30, a reporter from Sanjiang Metropolis Daily walked into Ren Lin'an 's orchard.

After coming to Leshan in 2002, Ren Linan has been in business, operating food wholesale, teahouse chess and cards, mold sales and clothing sales and so on. In 2014, Ren Lin'an contracted dozens of mu of land to grow watermelons in Leigou Village, Guanmiao Township, and built a professional cooperative for green melon and fruit cultivation with friends' watermelon land. After successfully planting watermelons, he has planted cherries, oranges, bayberries, strawberries and other fruits one after another. so far, there are more than ten kinds of fruits here.

Now, it is the season for strawberries to ripen. Ren Linan brought reporters to his strawberry orchard. Strawberry orchard covers an area of about 6 mu. In order to save costs, he uses watermelon and strawberry interplanting techniques.

Anyone who has worked in agriculture knows that the most troublesome thing about the management of strawberries is disinfestation. After Ren Lin'an planted strawberries, he asked for advice on how to use insecticidal water safely, effectively and innocuously. he used washing powder + urea + water to prepare a potion for killing aphids. Strawberries also have an enemy of green worms, which he kills with homemade enzymes.

Because there are no pesticides or ripening, these strawberries are not big, have a long ripening period, and are not good-looking, but they taste sweet.

Ren Linan said that now he still uses some chemical fertilizer in the strawberry field, and when the conditions are ripe, he will also use compost to make strawberries grow more naturally.

Since he began to grow melons and fruits, Ren Linan has invested nearly one million yuan, but he is full of confidence, saying that if he insists on planting fruits that make people rest assured, there will be a return. For the future, he hopes to establish an agricultural circular economy here. There is too much aquaculture around the orchard, and the manure of the aquaculture industry is made into organic fertilizer, which is used to grow the orchard, and the surrounding straw is used as feed for the aquaculture industry, and it will eventually be built into a leisure farm and a green organic farm.
