Qili Township, located in the northwest of Quzhou City, is a pure mountain township with high mountains and deep valleys. Ten years ago, Qili Township was the poorest township in Kecheng District of Quzhou, with more agricultural inputs and less output, and most of the villagers' income depended on going out to work. In recent years, great efforts have been made to develop alpine organic vegetables here, forming a 10-kilometer-long green vegetable corridor from Huangtuling Village to Yuntou Village, with a vegetable planting area of 2000 mu and an output value of more than 24 million yuan. Farmhouse music and high-end accommodation have also been built. in summer, the whole farm music in Qili Township is full almost every day.

Tsinghua graduate students return to their hometown to do ecological agriculture

Adopt the latest popular mode in the world

The spring rain for several days has added a little coolness to the mountain area of Qili Township, while a farmer's market here is a lively and busy scene: 20 native eggs, 10 wild eggs and 10 black eggs are neatly arranged into foam boxes, then packed into cartons, tied with ribbons and transported to trucks and sent to family kitchens in Hangzhou, Shanghai, Nanjing and other major cities.

"these eggs are all raised naturally in the mountain area, and the price of a box is 198 yuan." Xian Yu Wenhua, chairman of Quzhou Nongben Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., told reporters that sales are all done through Wechat. From its launch on November 1 last year, it has sold more than 6000 copies to the end of November, with revenue exceeding 1.1 million yuan. "We look forward to maximizing the value of farmers and customers and working hard for an ecologically healthy dining table for mankind."

Xianyu Wenhua, 36, is of Korean origin and graduated with a bachelor's and master's degree from Tsinghua University. in 2012, he returned to Quzhou, Zhejiang Province, where he was born, and began to explore the road to ecological agriculture. Quzhou Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. was officially established this year. He landed the latest popular international CSA+ model, an upgraded version of Community supported Agriculture (CSA), and delivered fresh fruits and vegetables from the depths of the mountains to the city's private kitchens in the most timely manner.

Farmers study regularly

Planting knowledge, packaging and sales skills

Driving from Quzhou to the vegetable promenade of Datou Village, Qili Township, which is more than 600m above sea level, the line of sight is full of eggplant, chicken hairy cabbage, cabbage, and so on. Rain Water Xili, they are growing happily.

"on average, we can sell these vegetables for 20 yuan per catty. For example, this chicken feather vegetable can be sold for up to 100 yuan per jin." Speaking of the changes in joining the "agricultural capital", villager Wang Mingli kept smiling. More kinds of vegetables have been planted, the technology of planting has been advanced, and the income has also increased a lot. "in the past, when the benefits of growing vegetables were best, they only had an income of less than 50,000 yuan, but now with only 3 mu of land, the annual rent is 60,000 yuan."

Purchase farmers' products at a guaranteed price at 3 to 5 times the market price, and then convert them into an one-time rent of 20,000 yuan per mu of land a year, so as to "package" farmers and land into the company, so that "identity farmers" can really become "professional farmers." this is the direction that Wenhua has been working hard.

In order to achieve this goal, the first thing that rarely happens after Wenhua sets up a company is to set up a business school, so that every farmer under the company will regularly learn about planting, packaging and sales skills, and so on. At the same time, he also integrated Sinology education into it to improve the humanistic accomplishment of farmers.

"at the end of the year, we will issue a car to the best farmers." Xianyu Wenhua told reporters that "agricultural capital" will also launch farmers' pension and provident fund schemes, allowing farmers to go to cities to buy houses, take buses to work, and have a sense of income and security for their old age, just like urban workers. "in the future, we will lead 50,000 farmers into a new era of prosperity and innovation, and truly break the dual pattern of urban and rural areas."

Peasant family music in Qili village

It is often difficult to find a bed.

Another weekend, 50 people from more than 20 families from all over the country came to Qili Township, Jian Shi to listen to the spring, Xiangxi view waterfall, flying strange stone …... In this beautiful scenery made in heaven, they picked fresh fruits and vegetables on the spot, and ate an out-and-out meal of Tujia food at the farmhouse. After that, they personally experienced various folk activities such as grinding soybean milk, beating rice cakes, seesaw, swinging and so on. They stayed in folk accommodation at night, participated in bonfire parties, and felt the rare serenity and serenity in the city.

It is hard for them to think that just more than a decade ago, this was the poorest town in Kecheng District of Quzhou. Huangtuling Village, which has the most tourists, has a lot of pollution caused by the traditional native papermaking industry. the creek in the village is the "Yellow River" all the year round and cannot even wash its hands.

In 2005, Huang Tuling decided to close all the paper mills, restored the clear water source, and opened the first batch of farm music industry. Over the past 11 years, with its excellent natural environment and good farm management, it has become a national 4A-level scenic spot with the characteristics of "microclimate, original ecology, farmhouses and alpine cuisine". "Kecheng Qili" has also become a famous rural tourist attraction.

The villagers told the reporter that today, there are more than a hundred peasant households in Qili Township, dotted along Shiqi Highway. During the summer season, more than 2200 farmhouse beds in Qili Township are full every day, and it is difficult to find a room.

Transformation and upgrading to ease the pressure on the environment

Make the beautiful countryside more attractive

In order to help improve the service quality of farm music, farmers who operate farm music have also joined the Kecheng Rural Music Association one after another. President Cai Jianhua told reporters that in view of some problems existing in farm music, the association will conduct some targeted training every year and invite professional teachers to carry out courses such as cooking and etiquette.

"training should be carried out every year, otherwise our service will lag behind." Cai Jianhua said.

In addition, in view of the bottleneck of the generally low grade of farm music in Qili, the Qili township government also plans to build a middle-and high-end residential "Qiliyun House" to lead the transformation of the villagers.

"the situation now is somewhat similar to that in 2005. Just like doing farm music at the beginning, we want to give them an exemplary and leading role through this project. Later, when they see that there is a market, they may spontaneously catch up and develop the whole industry into the middle and high end." Xu Zhenyu, head of Qili Township, said.

It is understood that the whole "Qili Yunshe" project is divided into three phases, and the first phase of the tourist distribution square was completed in September last year and has been put into use. In the planning of Qili Township, the local government will first build the infrastructure, and then make the project really fall to the ground by attracting investment.

"We hope to eventually build a cabin in the bamboo forest, some of which are similar to the style of Hainan's Bird's Nest. Let the farm music in Qili realize the transformation and upgrading. " Speaking of future planning, Xu Zhenyu is full of confidence. In his eyes, the beautiful transformation of Qili is still going on.
