Last Updated: 2024/12/22, Farmers raise "running pigs" on credit to earn thousands of yuan each and embark on the road to prosperity.

Farmers raise a few mountain pigs on credit from a breeding company and sell them to the company after 10 months. The company recycles them at an approximate price, and one can help farmers earn about 1,000 yuan.

On April 7, the reporter learned in Yanzi Township, Wangcang County that the Qingshan Ecological breeding Co., Ltd., which was introduced into the township in 2013, has helped more than 70 local villagers embark on the road to prosperity by allowing farmers to raise mountain pigs on credit.

According to he Chaoguo, the person in charge of the daily work of the company, the enterprise has built one piglet breeding base and 16 ecological stocking bases, and the existing stock pen can breed more than 200 sows, more than 100 reserve sows, and 8 high-quality Duroc boars. The annual production of commercial piglets has reached more than 10,000.

"this kind of running mountain pig we raise is a new breed based on Songliao black pig, which is formed through crossbreeding and breeding stages. it has the characteristics of high lean meat rate, strong cold resistance and good meat quality. it is one of the ideal varieties for villagers to develop breeding projects here." Li Linquan, a technician of the company, said.

According to he Chaoguo, the company develops according to the model of "company + farmers". After the piglets grow to 19 to 21 kilograms, the company credits farmers with high-quality piglets at a preferential price of 10 yuan per catty, which can be sold to the company 10 months later. The company recycled the piglet money owed by farmers on credit according to the 9% 1 model (9 yuan floating around 1 yuan) agreed in the contract.

"Last year, I applied for a loan of 50, 000 yuan to help the poor and benefit farmers, built 200 square meters of cottages, raised more than 60 mountain pigs, and earned 60 yuan. This year, I raised more than 100 pigs, with an estimated annual income of more than 150000 yuan, and strive to get rid of poverty by 2017." He Chaokai, a poor household in the second group of gold and silver village, said.

He Chaoguo said that villagers raise running mountain pigs mainly by stocking, supplemented by feed feeding at the same time. Generally, after 10 months of feeding, each pig can grow to about 260jin on average, with a gross income of more than 2700 yuan, excluding the cost of about 1700 yuan. Each can make a net profit of about 1000 yuan. "Farmers with the conditions for raising mountain pigs can generally raise 20 to 150 pigs, with an average income of 1000 yuan per head according to the minimum of 20, and farmers can earn more than 20 yuan a year." He said.

He Chaoguo said that he Shifu, a poor family with a card set up in Jinyin Village 12, learned from us that raising "running pigs" had high profits and a good market, so he decided to raise "running pigs" at home; in 2014, he raised more than 70, 000 yuan to build a 230-square-meter pig pen, and began to raise "running pigs" in July of the same year. Last year, he raised more than 160 pigs, earning a net profit of 100000 yuan. This year, he strives to raise 300 pigs, with an income of 200000 yuan.

The reporter learned that through the way of raising running pigs on credit, the company has greatly mobilized the enthusiasm of villagers to develop characteristic breeding, and has led more than 70 local households to raise running pigs. The company also plans to build no less than 100 ecological stocking sites by the end of 2018, radiating to more than 10 counties in the province, raising no less than 20,000 mountain pigs; this year, we will strive to drive more than 100 households, and within three years, we will strive to drive more than 200 households to develop the mountain pig breeding industry.
