Liang Jiujie worked as a temporary worker in Chengde County Agricultural Bureau after graduating from junior high school in 1990. In 1991, he was assigned to Tougou Town Agricultural Promotion Station as a technician, thus starting his more than 20-year career in agricultural technology promotion.

For more than 20 years, Liang Jiujie has almost traveled all over the mountains and rivers of Chengde County, and his long-term work practice has made him a well-known "crop doctor." whether it is crops or vegetables, they are sick, worms, or some difficult and complicated diseases. Liang Jiujie is the first thing that comes to mind.

Among them, he invented "high-efficient cultivation techniques of lettuce, hard fruit tomato and celery in three crops a year", "annual big stubble single-ridge and double-pole cultivation techniques of hot pepper in solar greenhouse", and "high-yield cultivation techniques of over-summer ginger in solar greenhouse" have been popularized in the county by a total of 13000 mu, increasing agricultural net income by more than 150 million yuan, and popularized and applied in many provinces and cities throughout the country.

From 2006 to 2008, Liang Jiujie was assigned to Shangbancheng Town, Chengde County to take charge of the 480 mu colored pepper demonstration project. As these colored peppers are all supplied to Hong Kong, buyers have very strict requirements on the shape and quality of colored peppers, and they choose products one by one during acceptance inspection. Do not want any unqualified shape. In order to convince farmers, Liang Jiujie personally demonstrated, especially the "twisting pepper" technology, the strength is strong, the twist is not in place, and the young fruit of colored pepper can not reach the stem, otherwise it will affect the appearance. During that time, Liang Jiujie entered a shed for two days and hung out with farmers every day.

In the area under Liang Jiujie's responsibility, there are five large cooperatives, including Beiqiang, Shuangcheng, Yang Lin, vegetables supplied to Hong Kong and Golden Mulberry Tian. He not only actively participates in the production and management of cooperatives, but also gives suggestions for the development of cooperatives. In 2014, when he visited Guyuan in Zhangjiakou, he found that the local broccoli planting benefit was very good, so he suggested that Beiqiang cooperative grow broccoli, in order to receive good benefits. From the planting season to the cold shed to raising seedlings, from watering to shading, Liang Jiujie does not have a single technology to strictly check at the scene. In recent years, he has also helped them set up six vegetable stores for the management of Beiqiang cooperatives. At present, "Beiqiang" and "de Neng" vegetable growing cooperatives in Liang Jiujie's area have been certified as national standard demonstration gardens.

Over the years, Liang Jiujie's work has been recognized by the broad masses of farmers and governments at all levels.
