Taking off her master's clothes and changing into peasant clothes, Fang Yueping, a "post-80s" girl from a big city to a small mountain village, chose a road of struggle. As deputy secretary of the party branch of Chitian Village, Chitian Town, Fengxin County, Yichun City, and secretary of the party branch of Chunxiao High-quality Rice planting Farmers' specialized Cooperative, she made her home in the village, stirring up the villagers' hope of getting rid of poverty and the heavy burden of rural industrial development. She has successively won honorary titles such as "Ten most beautiful village officials in the country", "the ninth national leader in rural youth getting rich", and "excellent college student village officials in Jiangxi Province".

In 2008, after graduating from East China University of Science and Technology, Fang Yueping was introduced as a high-tech talent by a Shanghai company. She not only had a high-paying position, but also solved the Shanghai hukou. Fang Yueping, 28, got all this, which is the envy of many people. However, growing up in rural Zhejiang, she often thinks of rural landscapes and people, and is determined to use what she has learned to devote herself to rural construction. In 2011, she resolutely resigned, passed the village official examination, and became a university student village official in Chitian Village, Chitian Town, Fengxin County. When she first arrived in Chitian, Fang Yueping made a move that surprised and even opposed many people: she gave up her Shanghai hukou and moved her hukou to Chitian. In this regard, Fang Yueping explains like this: college student village officials want to enter the village and start with the villagers.

Fang Yueping went to the village to investigate and learned that most of the local farmers lacked confidence in agriculture, went out to work one after another, and even abandoned a small area. After careful investigation and consultation with experts, she decided to guide farmers to grow high-quality rice and lead them to "dig gold" in the fields. In 2012, she summoned some villagers to form a professional cooperative for Chunxiao high-quality rice growers. After nearly five years of development, the cooperative now has 553 members, mainly engaged in the cultivation, processing and sale of high-quality rice, with a planting scale of 6128 mu. Last year, it achieved sales and service income of 11.81 million yuan, and each cooperative member's income increased by 3238 yuan.

Fang Yueping not only took the lead in setting up cooperatives to enter the market, but also brought e-commerce into the village. At the end of 2014, when she went out to study, she found that many counties and cities were engaged in rural e-commerce. Fang Yueping is keenly aware that Fengxin County is a major agricultural county with rich products and great potential for the development of rural e-commerce. As a result, she and other university student village officials created a new e-commerce model of "Internet + supply and marketing cooperative + university student village official + cooperative + peasant household" in the country.

At present, local university student village officials have participated in 11 e-commerce start-up projects, with a turnover of 480000 yuan in just three months, covering a variety of local agricultural products such as rice, kiwifruit and chili sauce. Fang Yueping said: "the entry of e-commerce into the village has brought more hope for farmers to become rich. I will continue to serve the villagers to my modest extent."
