The bright red strawberries dotted among the green leaves refused to leave, the fresh corn seedlings that broke through the earth were green, a string of green beads on the grapevines grew wantonly in the sun, and tourists were busy picking and taking pictures between red and green. On May 5, in a greenhouse picking shed in Xiaomanling Village, Houjiamiao Township, Xuanhua District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, three kinds of crops were mixed up to create a beautiful scene for tourists.

Such a unique planting structure should be the masterpiece of agricultural technicians, right?

Unexpectedly, this is a three-dimensional planting model practiced by Wang Liang, a migrant worker returning home. A few years ago, because of the low income from farming, Wang Liang chose to work in the city. In 2010, an accidental opportunity gave him the idea of going back to his hometown to start a business. that day, his friend took him to the picking garden around Beijing. The strawberries in the greenhouse sold for 60 yuan per kilogram, which touched him a lot. In 2011, Wang Liang built the first strawberry picking garden in Xiaomanling village.

Strawberries are planted in the greenhouse in August every year, and the picking period can last until May of the following year at the latest, during which there is a three-month idle period. Wang Liang, who likes to ponder, wants to do some articles in these three months. The first thing he thought of was growing grapes, because he had seen people grow grapes in the greenhouse before, probably picked in July and August, but he was not sure what grapes could be planted and whether the vines would affect the growth of strawberries, so he began to look around. Wang Liang finally found this "strawberry + grape" three-dimensional planting pattern in a picking garden on the outskirts of Beijing. Xuanhua is located in the alpine area, although it is planted in the greenhouse, but the climate also has a great impact on plants, coupled with the soil is not fertile enough, can such planting be successful? "you don't know if it's all right if you don't try!" In 2013, Wang Liang introduced this "strawberry + grape" three-dimensional planting model. With the help of local agricultural technicians, his three-dimensional planting was a great success, and the revenue of the harvest garden doubled in 2014.

Wang Liang, who tasted the sweetness, did not stop. There has always been a local tradition of interplanting. Inspired by this, Wang Liang tried to interplant corn in the strawberry border. In order to improve his income, he chose fresh corn, which was cooked and sold individually in the wrong season. In 2015, he actually carried a basket of fresh corn out of his greenhouse.

Wang Liang calculated an account to the reporter: "from January to May, strawberries are ripe and picked, corn is listed in June, while grapes in the greenhouse can be picked at the end of June, listed in the wrong season, and the price is high." At the same time, the picking period of grapes in the greenhouse can even be extended to the end of November, which can also be sold at a good price. A greenhouse can harvest four or five thousand jin of grapes, three or four thousand pounds of strawberries, and 5000 ears of corn. According to corn 1 yuan per ear, grapes 20 yuan per jin, strawberries 30 yuan per jin to calculate, a total of more than 200,000 yuan! The unit yield of my one mu of land can catch up with the income of 20 mu of corn in the field! "

In Xiaomanling Village, this kind of three-dimensional farm is not the only one! Under the leadership of Wang Liang, many villagers in Xiaomanling Village have developed greenhouses for planting. In 2014, Wang Liang also took the lead in setting up a professional planting cooperative. By imparting planting techniques, providing high-quality seedlings, and introducing a new three-dimensional planting model of strawberries, Wang Liang developed more than 20 pollution-free greenhouses in solar greenhouses, with an annual output of more than 40,000 kilograms of strawberries and grapes, which led to the development of picking and traveling economy in the village.

"in the future, this farm will be more three-dimensional, and we will not only open farm music, but also have a 'fruit feast' western restaurant." Wang Liang happily shared his dream of getting rich with reporters.
