Working in a fresh shop discovers entrepreneurial opportunities

The thin Wei Zefeng has a trademark black hair for the crown. From the beginning of his freshman year, he began to set up a series of entrepreneurial projects: "630 Campus Tobacco", "Zhongli Student part-time team", "brilliant Festival activity supplies Store", "Zhonggang takeout Distribution team" and so on. It has been honed in failure and success again and again.

Wei Zefeng said that when he was a child, his parents brought him to the market to watch them do business, and nurtured their business mind.

In the summer of 2014, during the summer vacation of his sophomore year, Wei Zefeng interned at Tiandi Yuansheng fresh restaurant in the Donghu district of the city. The mountain pork in the store has been selling well because of its high quality. This made him realize that as long as the product quality was well controlled, there was a great demand for healthy agricultural products, so he came up with the idea of starting an agricultural product project.

To this end, while working in the fresh shop, he insisted on getting up at 6 o'clock every morning, learning technical work such as killing chickens and cutting meat in the fresh shop during the day, and studying the cashier management system on the Internet at night. Others worked eight hours a day, and he often worked 14 or 15 hours a day. In this way, it took nearly half a year for him to become the store manager, official store manager and deputy general manager from the distributor, and at the same time familiar with the whole operation process of the fresh shop. In the following time, he continued to learn about ecological agriculture, planting and breeding of agricultural products, processing and packaging, logistics, and farm experience. Through the introduction of friends, Wei Zefeng went to the market to inquire about various channels and looked for chicken sources everywhere.

" Wei Zefeng successively visited more than 10 chicken farms in Shuikou, Ma'an, Huidong, Longmen and other places in Huicheng District, and finally selected three chicken farms in Guanyinge Town, Haoyi Town and Boluo County in Huicheng District as the chicken source of "good chicken."

In December 2015, Haojiyou began trial operation by establishing a WeChat group to provide online ordering services in cooperation with Tiandi Source fresh Food Store. After a month of trial operation, the average daily sales of 7.5 chickens completely exceeded Wei Zefeng's expectations. "We originally expected to sell about 5 chickens a day." Through the analysis, it is found that repeat customers are an important source of sales: a customer buys a chicken almost every two days after tasting fresh, and a pregnant customer buys eight chickens in a month, which reinforces his confidence in selling good chickens.

In March this year, Wei Zefeng's team signed an agreement with an investor in Huizhou, obtained 500000 yuan in seed investment, completed personnel recruitment, office equipment purchase and company registration, pre-promotion, and so on, and the entrepreneurial project entered a new stage of development. The internship experience in the fresh shop made me see the market demand of the project and the practice of selling cigarettes at school, which provided me with valuable entrepreneurial experience. When I was a student in Huizhou Economic Vocational and Technical College, I met a group of friends who were passionate and ideal about entrepreneurship.
