At present, more than 100 professional cooperatives have been set up in the area, and 8031 vegetable bases have been built. Each high-efficiency solar greenhouse can achieve an annual income of 50,000 to 60,000 yuan. Vegetable cultivation has become the main way for farmers to increase their income and become rich.

The centenarian fruit and vegetable planting cooperative in Hohhot, which is also committed to the development of facility agriculture, was established in 2012.
