In view of the fact that she has the ability to work and return to poverty due to illness, she was selected as one of the 292 people who grew vegetables in Santang township to get rid of poverty.

Santang Township facility vegetable planting poverty alleviation base has 8 villages, including Liutun, Luzhuang and Zhangyan, among which the vegetable greenhouse area in Liutun, where Liu Yuping is located, covers an area of about 260 mu, with 14 winter warm greenhouses and 17 vegetable arch sheds. In the greenhouse, there are mainly cucumber, melon, watermelon, kidney bean and other vegetables, melon and fruit rotation and intercropping. The precise poverty alleviation policy formulated by the county and township stipulates that poor households and their children should give priority to planting. If they do not have the ability to plant, they can go to non-poor households to help work in contracted sheds to get remuneration, and the contractor households will pay a fixed rent to the village collectively every year, which will be used to pay dividends to poor households without the ability to work. In the base, each vegetable arch shed can make a net profit of 20,000 to 30,000 yuan a year, and each winter greenhouse can make a net profit of 50,000 to 80,000 yuan a year, and farmers can increase their income by more than 1 million yuan alone.

Liu Yuping, who contracted two vegetable arches, led her daughter-in-law and father-in-law to try to grow vegetables in facilities. Since contracting last year, with the help and guidance of county and township poverty alleviation departments, we have accumulated a crop of zucchini and tomatoes, with an accumulative increase of more than 20,000 yuan.

Hou Zhifeng, a poor household in the city, contracted a winter-warm greenhouse and just sold a crop of zucchini. His mother used to go to the hospital and borrow money from door to door. Not long ago, his mother was hospitalized with high blood pressure. He took the money out of his pocket and paid the hospitalization fee. " When talking about the changes of the poor households in the village, Hou Xuejun looked excited.

We can see that facility vegetables have achieved remarkable results in poverty alleviation. This year, Liutun Village in Santang Township will continue to expand its planting scale, invest more than 2 million yuan, and build 58 new winter greenhouse vegetable greenhouses and vegetable arch sheds, so as to encourage more farmers to shake off poverty and become rich.

Facility vegetable poverty alleviation is one of the four industrial poverty alleviation measures in Santang Township, Pingyuan County. Since the beginning of this year, governments at plain, county and township levels have taken "industrial poverty alleviation" as the focus of poverty alleviation work, accurately identified poor households, implemented policies according to people, and accurately helped them, and launched a set of "combined punches" for poverty alleviation.
