Raise funds to start a business and walk out of the road of production, supply and marketing of pollution-free vegetables

Li Lanzhen's birthplace is a poor and backward Lahu village, and many villagers are not in the habit of growing vegetables. From the beginning of primary school, he was determined to do something when he grew up and get rid of poverty and backwardness.

In 2004, she, who was only 23 years old and had a junior high school education, set up two simple greenhouses for growing vegetables and embarked on the road of entrepreneurship by raising 5000 yuan in various ways. Do not understand the technology and no experience, while groping while planting, the first two years basically did not make money. She was out of breath and consulted her teachers in many ways. under the merits of the government, she was given the opportunity to attend greenhouse vegetable cultivation training in Chengdu, Yunnan Agricultural University and Pu'er Agricultural School in Sichuan Province, and hired a vegetable station technician as a technical consultant.

Three years later, she planted 16 varieties of vegetables, which met the needs of the village and were sold to markets such as Huimin and Mengman, with an annual income of more than 32000 yuan. The family built a brick house and bought a tractor to transport vegetables. In 2010, Lancang Lanzhen vegetable growers' professional cooperative was established. From then on, the villagers who led the Lahu copycat began an one-stop road to the production, supply and marketing of pollution-free vegetables.

The producing area of pollution-free vegetables has passed the agricultural product safety certification of the Ministry of Agriculture.

With the expansion of business, in April 2010, Li Lanzhen established a professional cooperative of Lancangzhen vegetable growers as chairman. The cooperative defines the responsibilities of the board, the chairman and the directors, and adopts members to join the association voluntarily, with more than 100 existing members. She finds orders for members, goes to the market, unifies the organization of products to the market, and realizes the reasonable distribution of intermediary links.

Li Lanzhen stressed: in the course of operation, we should strictly control the quality of vegetables, ensure that consumers can eat safe and pollution-free fresh vegetables, and improve the scientific, technological and cultural quality of members and farmers. To provide the market with high-quality and inexpensive pollution-free fresh vegetables. Cooperatives give priority to distribution, and there are pollution-free vegetable direct sales points in major supermarkets and main streets in Lancang County, and the distribution targets are mainly primary and secondary schools and social organizations. At present, the per capita income of cooperative members reaches 7579 yuan, 108 per cent more than the per capita income of farmers in the county as a whole.

Over the years, she has led the villagers of Lahu in the mountains to get rich together, which has been affirmed by the local government. In November 2013, she declared the identification and use of the mark of pollution-free vegetables, which was certified by the Ministry of Agriculture of China for the safety of agricultural products.
