Wang Xingfen's family is one of 20 ecological laying hen farmers in Yangwu Township. In April this year, Wang Xingfen and her husband made up their minds to start ecological laying hen breeding with Anshun Xinwang Livestock and Poultry breeding Company. Yangwu Township uses the industry-driven model of "company + cooperative + peasant household" to subsidize 20,000 yuan to each ecological laying hen farmer through poverty alleviation projects, which is used to build henhouses and buy chicken seedlings. At Wang Xingfen's breeding base, the reporter saw "chicken villas" built on the green grass, and white laying hens leisurely looking for worms under the plum tree. with a cry from their owners, thousands of laying hens poured in from all directions, waiting for the host to feed the food.

"my laying hens have just begun to lay eggs, so these eggs are as small as pigeon eggs, but these chicks are very nutritious." Wang Xingfen told reporters while picking up eggs. Her family raised 1500 laying hens this year, covering an area of 8 mu. A "chicken villa" can hold 270 chickens. After raising them for 120 days, they will enter the laying period. "eggs laid by farmers' free-range native chickens are purchased by specialized agricultural cooperatives at a price of 90 cents each, and then uniformly transported to the Anshun Xinwang Livestock and Poultry breeding Company, which is uniformly packaged and sold at a price of 1.5 yuan each. When the laying period is over, the company also buys non-laying hens at a price of 15 yuan per catty. Farmers can earn money for selling chickens while making money for eggs. In order to realize standardized and large-scale breeding, Yangwu Township carried out "five unified" management of ecological laying hens, that is, unified feed (corn) supply, unified breeding, unified technical guidance, unified disinfection and epidemic prevention, and unified management mode of recycling. Professional training on aquaculture will be carried out regularly every week to improve the professional level of farmers. According to Fu Shixiong, at present, ecological laying hen breeding in Yangwu Township has just started, and by the high-yield period of laying hens, 8000 to 9000 native eggs will be produced every day. Through the development of accurate poverty alleviation by ecological laying hen farming, some poor farmers can be lifted out of poverty. A year later, the 20 poor households that develop laying hens will achieve an annual per capita net income of more than 10,000 yuan.
