The development of vegetable production in the shed made him rich, became a "star" of becoming rich, appeared on television, and made deeds reports for the cadres and masses of the county. Cong Jun, a farmer in Qianfeng Village, Duerbert Township, Inner Mongolia Autonomous region, said that he was delighted with the benefits and honors brought to him by vegetable production in the shed.

In 2003, Cong Jun, who was bent on growing out-of-season vegetables, built the first greenhouse under the guidance of others. At the beginning, they were all green onions and leeks, which sold out soon after they were on the market, making money. With the harvest and experience of the previous year, Cong Jun had a bigger plan. As soon as he ruthlessly dismantled the old greenhouse, made a frame with steel beams and covered it with thick plastic, he built a new greenhouse, the temperature in the shed came up, and the food went to market ahead of time. In 2009, after accumulating some experience and funds, he invested another 350000 yuan to build two high-standard solar greenhouses, which saw a return that year.

In the development of greenhouse vegetable cultivation, Cong Jun through the study of science and technology, the use of science and technology to support the high-yield and efficient development of greenhouse vegetables. In the course of groping, he learned a number of cultivation techniques. In 2008, he began to try cucumber grafting cultivation in the greenhouse. In order to grasp the main technical points, he worked on vegetables in the greenhouse during the day and sat at Kang Tou at night to watch the vegetable production technology in the greenhouse. After long-term research and exploration, the cucumber grafting technology was successful and the output tripled compared with the previous one.

In order to broaden the channels of getting rich and find new ways to get rich, under the guidance of technicians in rural agricultural stations, Cong Jun began to explore effective ways to develop pollution-free vegetables. In order to master the scientific application technology of greenhouse biogas, he went to Dalian, Hebei and other places to visit and study. With self-raised funds of 7000 yuan, a 20 cubic meter biogas digester was built in the original greenhouse, and two gas stoves were installed, using the ecological prevention and control technology of biogas residue and biogas liquid explored for many years, which saves both labor and money, and produces all pollution-free vegetables, which are far better than non-local vegetables in shape, color and taste, and can sell more money in price. Every year, cucumbers appear on the market ahead of time in late March, with an income of 120000 yuan.

Cong Jun never forgets his fellow villagers when he gets rich. With the help of relevant departments of counties and townships, Cong Jun registered and established a professional cooperative for growing vegetables in overwintering greenhouses in June 2015. the cooperative provides prenatal, mid-and post-natal production guidance for the members of the cooperative. After nearly a year of development, cooperatives are beginning to take shape, and their radiation and driving force are constantly increasing. Farmers with land transfer can volunteer to work in cooperatives with a monthly salary of 800 yuan, which not only helps returning migrant workers tide over the difficulties, but also provides a model for surrounding counties and townships to develop pollution-free food production with local characteristics.
