Huang Guozhong, a wasp farmer in Longshan Town, Longling County, Baoshan City, Yunnan Province, is called "Queen Bee" locally. After years of unremitting exploration, he successfully domesticated wild wasps artificially and turned wasp breeding into an industry that drives farmers to increase income.

Huang Guozhong overcame the technical difficulties of domesticating wasps and expanded the scale of beekeeping continuously. From the beginning of breeding 60 nests of wasps, there have been more than 18000 nests now. He said that the development of wasps on labor input and breeding environment requirements are not high, neither affect agricultural work, economic benefits are also obvious. At present, Huang Guozhong has helped about 800 poor households raise wasps. He provides bee seeds for poor people free of charge, and carries out free on-site technical training guidance and unified price purchase. He sells bee pupae and honey to Tengchong, Mang City and other places in Yunnan Province. More and more farmers rely on beekeeping to live a good life.
