Grapes in the greenhouse

In early summer, the author walked into Wang Lukou Village, Ranqiao Town, Dingtao District, and saw lush green, an acre of green grape branches and leaves stretching, and the growing fruits happily enrich themselves. In one of the greenhouses, a tanned fruit farmer was busy picking ripe tomatoes planted between grape branches in the shed, and soon the baskets beside him were full. "the losses caused by the heavy snow last winter have been compensated with these ripe tomatoes. The early ones have been sold out, and the late ones are not yet ripe. We can take advantage of this stage to sell for a good price and root out the grapes so that we can grow grapes." He pointed to the still ripe tomatoes and wiped the sweat from his head.

Struggle in poverty and never give up to become rich

This middle-aged man is called Wang Weizhong, plaid shirt, jeans, a head of sweat and two feet mud, with some vicissitudes of life, an out-and-out ordinary fruit grower, this is his first impression to the author. He is 51 years old, has been growing grapes for 27 years and has rich experience in planting management. He has an elderly father to take care of, a 21-year-old son born with mental retardation and a young 6-year-old daughter to look after. In order to take care of the elderly and children, the couple have been farming at home, only by growing grapes to support the family. Although a man is middle-aged, he has been hunched by the oppression of life.

Although he did not lead a rich life, Wang Weizhong never gave up getting rich. He actively participated in grape training courses in the village, watched TV to learn, used modern scientific greenhouse technology, applied natural chemical fertilizers, planted two mu of early-maturing and pollution-free grapes, went on the market at the wrong time, earned poor prices, and the grapes were sweet and delicious, which were welcomed by the masses and increased the sales efficiency. In order to meet different consumer needs, he also made a fuss about rich grape varieties. The grapes planted include early ripening No. 1, horse milk, * * seedless, Jufeng, rose fragrance, red balati and other varieties, of which rose is the most famous. His grapes are recognized by consumers for their good quality, and the price per kilogram is more than 1 yuan higher than that of other places, and every year the grapes are still in short supply. Buyers make an appointment to order in advance.

The grape pot earns 80,000 yuan per mu.

Wanglukou Village is a well-known grape-growing village. The grapes are sour, sweet and delicious, full of fruit, and are very popular. Wang Weizhong believes that to stand out in the grape village, it is necessary to develop a new planting method-potted grapes.

Talking about why he thought of cultivating potted grapes, Wang Weizhong said that now more and more people are growing grapes, and the acreage is increasing year by year, and the competition is fierce. If potted grapes can open up new markets for grape growers, it must be a good thing. "I see people growing in other places on TV, so I want to try it."

It is understood that last year, Wang Weizhong planted a total of 200 pots, of which more than 100 pots grew better, which were quickly booked by grape purchasers, surrounding enterprise bosses, and some friends, and the price of each pot was 80 yuan. "they are very interested when they see it. now they pay attention to fresh fruit, and it is not easy to store grapes. When they buy them home, they have to put them in the refrigerator and then take them out and eat them. Potted grapes can ensure that every one they eat is fresh." Wang Weizhong said.

Wang Weizhong is still very confident about the prospect of potted grapes this year. He calculated that if there was a market for potted grapes, the income would be much higher than now. "one mu of land can probably grow 1000 pots, calculated on the basis of 80 yuan per pot. It is not a dream to earn 80,000 yuan per mu of land, but under normal circumstances, earning 20,000 to 30,000 yuan per mu of grapes is already remarkable."

Experimenting, cultivating new things and getting rich is no longer a dream.

In Wang Weizhong's home, the author found that he used his empty courtyard to grow a patch of grape, strawberry, sugar cane, dragon fruit, and other varieties of grapes, strawberries, sugar cane, dragon fruit, and so on. Wang Weizhong told me that this piece of land is the experimental field he uses to cultivate new fruits to see if it is suitable for growth. If it is delicious, it will expand the planting area.

"several pots of potted strawberries were planted in greenhouse temperature difference experiment in winter, and the effect of the experiment was good." Wang Weizhong said that next, he will find experts to understand the training methods. Although bonsai fruit has been grown for only two years, Wang Weizhong obviously has a bigger goal. "consumers' shopping psychology is changing, requiring not only 'delicious' agricultural products, but also 'good-looking' agricultural products. Producers must adjust their thinking and planting habits. Only when we find a new 'selling point' and break through the traditional framework, can we win by surprise, and getting rich is no longer a dream. "
