Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Chen Zhaofu, a big farmer: raising Loach has realized the dream of becoming rich.

Early in the morning of May 22, the reporter saw a dozen ponds next to each other at the Xiufu Loach breeding base in Yujiao Village, Wofo Town. Chen Chaofu, a big farmer, was busy at the base. seeing his dark skin and rough hands, he seemed to see his hard work in countless days of sun and rain. It was precisely this spirit that was not afraid of hardship or tiredness that made him realize his "dream of getting rich" when he returned to his hometown to start a business.

Chen Chaofu, a native of Yujiao Village, has been working outside the city. In August 2014, as the child had to go to school in his hometown without parental supervision, he returned to his hometown after much thought.

Chen Chaofu, who usually likes to collect information on all kinds of species and aquaculture, accidentally saw the news that some farmers got rich by raising Loach and became very interested in it. He specially bought some books on Loach feeding for research, and learned that Loach is of great edible and medicinal value, known as "ginseng in water", and Loach in the market is in short supply, with a retail price of more than 30 yuan per kilogram. The economic benefit is very considerable.

"Fish and Loach have relatively high requirements for the culture environment." Chen Chaofu told reporters that farms should be selected in places with sufficient water and good water quality. Yujiao Village has a good environment, good water quality and convenient transportation. In early 2015, Chen Chaofu invested 380000 yuan to contract more than 30 mu of land in the village and built the Loach breeding base in Yujiao Village.

"whether the farm is well built or not is very important to the cultivation of Loach." Chen Chaofu took the reporter around. The reporter saw that intake canals and drains were installed separately in each pond. "the purpose of separate placement is to manage each pond separately, and if the water quality of one pond is not good, it will not affect other ponds. The depth of the pond is also strictly required, and 1.2m is the most suitable. Loach is small in size and can be drilled out as long as there is a small gap. If there are loopholes in the pond, they can escape completely in one day. " When talking about the breeding classics, Chen Chaofu went on and on, "when building a pond, we should also pay special attention to tamping the bottom of the pond."... "

"May-August is the breeding season of the Loach. When the Loach seedlings were first put down, they were smaller than sand worms and were almost invisible to the naked eye. They grew into millet size in 4 days. After 4 months, the Loach could be harvested." According to Chen Chaofu, Loach can be harvested twice a year, with a yield of 3000 per mu and 4000 jin per mu.

"as long as you master the aquaculture technology and the products are marketable, there is nothing to worry about." Chen Chaofu said that in the past two years, he has accumulated a lot of experience in practice, and the town often sends experts to provide on-the-spot guidance. In addition, he has established long-term cooperative relations with many businessmen in Chongqing. Loach mature, customers will come to buy, there is no need to worry about sales.

At present, Chen Chaofu farming area of 30 mu, according to the price of 15 yuan / jin, this year's income is very considerable. But Chen Chaofu is not satisfied. He plans to expand the scale of breeding next year and set up a specialized cooperative for Loach. Through demonstration, villagers will also be able to raise Loach. He will provide seedlings, provide technology free of charge, and be responsible for recycling Loach. This will make the industry bigger and stronger, and open up a new way for villagers to get rich.

As the sun shone into the pond, Chen Chaofu continued to be busy again: "We're going to plant seedlings again at the end of this month, and we need to step up our work!"
