A flower with a dream in my heart

In 1993, Shang Wang retired from the army and went to work in Guangzhou. by 2006, the 35-year-old had earned an annual salary of 300000. Seeing the developed township enterprises in the south and the rich life of farmers, Shang Wang thought of his hometown. In the spring of 2006, when he went on a business trip to Yunnan, he accidentally discovered a new pig breed. After that, he paid attention everywhere and used his spare time on each business trip to inspect wild boar farming and market conditions in different parts of the city. A year later, with a dream buried in the bottom of his heart for more than 20 years, Shang Wang gave up his high-paying job and went back to his hometown to raise wild boars with his own wisdom and diligence. But this was opposed by the whole family. The family said, "you have such a high monthly salary in the south and your life is already very good. Why should you throw the money you earn into this poor mountain village?" Just when his family disapproved, he made up his mind and determined to raise the wild boar successfully.

In 2007, the whole county of Guyang began to ban animal husbandry, Shangwang is determined to seize this opportunity. He put forward his idea to the leaders of Huaishuo town, which received strong support from the town party committee and government. In this way, he invested 300000 yuan for the first time and began to build pig houses and buy piglets in preparation for the construction of the first wild boar farm in Guyang County.

In order to better grasp the breeding experience and techniques, he bought all kinds of books and materials on raising wild boars scientifically, and consulted experts from local veterinarians and agriculture and animal husbandry departments. He studied hard and gradually had the ability to raise wild boars. When the wild boar sow gave birth, Shang Wang visited the pigsty more than a dozen times every night, and it was common for him to fall asleep in a wooden chair when he was tired. As the cause of raising wild boars becomes bigger and stronger, Shangwang increases the mating of large and fine purebred boars and buys a large number of fine purebred wild boar cubs. The scale of raising wild boars also continues to expand.

Strong and sprouting despite the wind and rain

But when Shang Wang was preparing for a big fight, it never occurred to him that what happened next made him want to give up the idea of raising a wild boar.

In 2008, Shang Wang's parents died one after another, and there were problems in the wild boar farm. Because at first did not take into account the sudden change in temperature, did not prepare a warm ring for the wild boar in advance, so the wild boar died in large numbers in the winter. When his parents were hospitalized, he spent more than 500,000 yuan in savings, not to mention buying wild boar cubs, and he didn't even have the money to buy charcoal for heating pigs. It was the coldest winter of his life. When the leaders of Guyang County and Huaishuo Town knew about this, they came to see Shangwang many times to comfort Shangwang. They repeatedly encouraged him to keep raising wild boars and gave him 20,000 yuan in aid to his party members.

In the face of the heavy snow outside, Shang Wang's cold heart slowly began to warm. then he used the 20,000 yuan to buy 20 tons of coal to warm the wild boar, which saved the remaining more than 100 wild boars from freezing to death. Shang Wang said that the 20,000 yuan was really timely help, the life-saving money given to him by the party organization, and the help given to him by the villagers, which made him where he is today. In this way, he made up his mind not only not to give up farming, but also to become bigger and stronger to repay the people who care about him.

Today, when people walk into the boar farming park of the prosperous Harbin farm, the loud songs played by the wild boar pen through loudspeakers can be heard from afar, which is the music feeding method he adopted for the wild boar. In order to expand sales, in 2009, Shangwang sold wild boar meat to several hotels in Guyang and Baotou, making a net profit of 200000 yuan at a time. The central government, autonomous regions, cities and other media have carried out reports one after another, making the still prosperous wild boar meat in short supply. Under the influence of Shang Wang, more and more farmers have followed him to raise wild boars. He wants to lead villagers like him to raise wild boars to make money and become rich. For villagers who have no experience in feeding wild boars in the distance and do not understand the technology, Shang Wang volunteered to provide them with technical training in the breeding park and regularly went to the farmers' homes for on-site guidance. Through these years' efforts, the breeding park has a number of wild boars such as Yunnan wild boar, Shaanxi wild boar, Changbai mountain wild boar, Sichuan wild boar and so on. They implemented the production and operation mode of "company + park + peasant household", signed a wild boar rearing and recycling contract with farmers, and defined the basic recovery price. Through market research, not only take into account high-end consumption and star catering hotels, but also take care of low-end consumers, stabilize the market price. With this good model, the breeding scale of the park is getting larger and larger, coupled with the science of wild boar feeding formula, the quality of wild boar has been well guaranteed, and the economic benefits of farmers have been continuously improved. Now, the prosperous breeding park has become the wild boar domestication and breeding base park with the most complete variety, the highest strain and the largest scale in the western part of Inner Mongolia.

In 2015, good news came again. Shangwang plans to attract investment from the south to settle in the Baotou Jinshan Industrial Park. If successful, these projects will be able to invest 1.4 billion yuan here, and this time more than 2000 jobs will be created for migrant farmers in the city.
