1. Methyl naphthyl acetate treatment: dissolve 150 grams of naphthalene methyl acetate with a concentration of 98% in 300 grams of acetone or alcohol, mix in 10 to 12.5 kilograms of fine soil and sprinkle evenly on potato tubers. After the potatoes are scattered or boxed, cover them with a layer of newspaper or linen.

2. Sprouting inhibitor treatment: spray the plant with 0.25% maleic hydrazide 7 days before harvest and spray again within 24 hours in case of rain. After such treatment, it is stored according to the conventional method.

3. Spice preservation: spices such as almonds, cinnamon, cumin, mint oil and thyme can make the food more delicious, and the latest experimental results show that they can also keep potatoes fresh.
